Good solid cash tin
I brought this to kock away my dads medication as he has to have carers. Its perfect to store his dossett box and other medications in. Keeps them safe. Good sturdy lock and key.

Good value and keen price.
I purchased two of these boxes recently for a business which I am seeing up where I need two cash boxes. I purchased from AMAZON at £11.93 with free delivery, although some resellers are selling them for under £9.00 plus postage (as at 20th July 2015).First off, what do you get? A metal box with a reasonably robust lock on it; I do think that you have to realise that a very strong box and lock won't prevent it from being stolen, so in my opinion it is very much up to the task. each item comes with two keys and a plastic tray to hold coins. I was impressed after buying two boxes, that the keys were not interchangeable and therefore, which the locks are pretty basic, if you lock it you cannot open it with just any key.Might I suggest that as an item to hold small amount of cash, it is ideal and I will be using mine to hold cash from the sales of refreshments and to collect membership fees.Good value at the price and more than up to the job I need them for.RECOMMENDED.

Not Adequate
Ordered this to keep my elderly Mum's tablet trays locked away so the carers can access them, but she can't. Really disappointed when it arrived as when locked, there is an awful lot of play in the lid which can be opened approximately 6mm and moved from side to side. Have no confidence that this won't be able to be prised open if she's determined. Had to take trouble to return and re-order a different product. Not impressed.

Needed a secure lock box that can fit paper in it. This fits the bill. Lock is metal both on the hook and the bit it hooks onto. Lock is easy to get open with the key, no sticking or stiffness in the lock. not flimsey in terms of the body of the box, so secure that way too. Will keep my documents safe :) Comes with two keys, which is good, because i know what I am like!Only negative is that the cash tray is a bit stiff to get in and out. Not such an issue as I dont really need it, but if you wanted it as a cash box, you might find it irritating.

You need a file. pair of pliers and drop or two of oil if you buy this box !!!!!!
The Good part the box was delivered very quickly . The other NOT so good part ------ As with many other purchasers comments the lock is useless unless you have some patience and a few tools . Turn the key (thats if you can get it in, this is where the file comes in, to smooth off some rough edges ) ....two tugs on the handle to see if your contents are safe and bingo the lid opens . Ten minutes fettleing the lock lever and you should have a boxwith a snugger fitting, lockable lid
