Very sharp, locking blade is nice
Cuts like butter and more affordable than some of the others, comes with a spare blade too. Great saw.

really like for the money
Seems as strong and good as some of the best models, and is moderately priced. We bought one, liked it so much, we bought another!

Worked well for me but blade could be sturdier
I wanted a pruning saw to remove one large branch. Since I don't know whether I'll need to use it again I was looking for a budget solution. This saw served me well. The blade is very sharp, the handle is easy to hold and grip, and I was able to remive the branch without mych difficulty. That said, I advise caution with the blade because it's relatively thin. No, it won't just snap easily, but I've used pruning saws where it's not even an issue, and with this one I could see that I had to take it easy. It comes with a replacement blade, which is great, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's needed at some point.

Punches above its weight class
This saw took 1/4 of the time my full size bow saw took to cut 5-6in logs into pieces. Makes very smooth cuts. Just be mindful of the roll pin my fell out and disappeared. They are sending a replacement.

Works okay on branches <2 inches.
I bought this to throw in my hiking bag. (Saw this as a disposable saw I wouldn't mind losing.) Took it on 1 hike. It took too much effort to cut a 3 inch tree branch. The blade is too flimsy. The teeth are not sharp enough. On subsequent hikes I have packed a non folding "disposable" saw 10" that works on branches up to 4 inches. And cuts fast. Not worth packing the extra weight for something that does not work well. I would not buy this again.

Top of the Heap
I have a number of these types of saws and this saw is the best that I have owned. I also found a comparrison video on Youtube that backs up the claim of the Fugiwara being the top of the heap in cutting power and speed. It also comes with a spare blade. This is a lot of saw for a very reasonable price.

Worked very well, no complain at all
Very good design. The folding feature makes sure it is safe when you are carrying it up on the tree or ladder. The pruning saw is sharp and cuts thick branches easy. A spare saw included, very thoughtful, it is always good to have a backup.

not bad
considering the price, no complaints. blade isn't real stout so you have to be mindful not to bind and break it. sizeable enough for larger limbs. for giggles i sawed through a fallen 7-8 inch trunk. super easy. used last weekend on branches, perfect for that kind of work. would fit in a day pack easily or trunk or seat back. spare blade is a nice touch. mechanism is simple, easy to clean if needed. slight curve on butt of handle adds leverage to pull stroke.
