Very good author
I recently bought both The Road to React and The Road to GraphQL together, and while I haven't started working with the latter yet, I've enjoyed The Road to React very much, I find it very useful and easy to understand, and I'm sure once I'm ready to start with The Road to GraphQL I will get the same experience

Amazing Author
As a new React developer, I was looking for some continued education. I bought the Road to React by Robin Wieruch, and after only a few chapters I knew I had to get Road to GraphQL.The author's writing makes complicated concepts easy to digest. The wording is also conversational and does make you feel as though you have a teacher guiding you along the way. I have not started this book, but I know it will provide the exact instruction I need. The book itself if a nice sturdy paperback with plenty of space to jot down notes along the way. Highly recommended for beginners and experiences devs alike. I'm confident I'll be purchasing the author's book on Redux in the near future.

AweSome Book
I am lucky to discover this book, because React, GraphQL, Apollo, Client and Server are bleeding edges technologies, and this book is the best resources that you can find at the current time to learn about these subjects. I followed Robin’s examples closely, and each section you can download the source code to compare with your code. I also like the quiz at the end of each section.Besides using Query and Mutation to get and update information. He also discussed why the Apollo team favorites the React render props pattern over High-Order Components.I think even you are beginner in React and Http, you should still able to learn a lot from this book, because it shows you details from how to get your GitHub access token to all the way to create your own React Apollo Client and Node Apollo Server.I thank you Robin for writing this book.

Beginner to advanced topics
Starts out with basic examples and ideas. Shifts well into advanced topics and full stack app development. Covers GraphQL concepts well.

Great Book!
This was a great book that introduced me to Graph QL on the front and back. You create a front-end React client by learning how to consume the Github API. You then create your own Graph QL API. Very informative, simple to follow, and hands on. I look forward to referencing this in the future!

Learn GraphQL the Right WAy!
I absolutely love this, and all of robin's books. He has a well publicized knack for explaining difficult subject in a stepwise, concise, and clear way. I can honestly say, his books have been one of the best resources I have found in learning GraphQL in React.

Great content when published, but outdated now
Looks very structural and helpful at first, but since the content is from 2018, it is oudated now (e.g. useQuery from Apollo, union in GraphQL etc). The author promised that the updated content would be in his website for free, but I found the content in the website is not updated either. I would have returned the book if I found the website is not updated either.
