Gives You a Good Foundation in Understanding Special Education
As another reviewer mentioned, this book is an easy read. It is also nicely structured by chapter. Each chapter touches upon a specific special need and follows a very similar structure that makes it easy to compare one chapter to another. After reading several chapters, you will realize that many of these special needs are similar in certain aspects such as their causes or ways to work with students who have these special needs. Again, the way these chapters are structured make it easy for the readers to see the differences and similarities of these special needs.

This book features examples and materials that can be used in real life class room scenarios. It is well-written and is essential for any professional education. It is also a great choice for referencing in a research paper or data filled assignment.

Taken advantage of
The software that accompanied the book was compromised when I made a mistake and I accidently clicked on the wrong book because the directions weren't clear and as I e-mailed their support on my lab, my software number still has not been reset. I am still waiting, but the book is great and the cost was reasonable.

Got this book for class and found it very helpful. I am not one who loved all my books from college but this one was useful in my career as an educator working with a variety of students.
