I bought these "amber" pendant charms obviously knowing that they were not real amber. But these are well made and fascinating to look at. What's more, they can be worn as pendants. It is important to know before buying these, however, that these are apparently randomly chosen for you and are not necessarily all varied. I received 3 butterflies, 1 beetle, and a scorpion. So please be mindful of this fact before buying. All told, I am happy with my purchase as these can be used as paperweights, pendants, or simply as part of a collection.

Massive disappointment. I had no expectation as to what may arrive, but my low expectations were crushed by the poor quality of these huge blobs of sticky resin with a small beetle crushed inside. This product is not amber it is amber colored plastic that is sticky to the touch. useless as jewelry unless you want it to adhere to your skin or clothing and the insects look as if they were captured off the floor of the plant. I do not like to post low reviews but this is a new low in deceptive advertising. To be clear; 1. Not Amber, 2. Are not fossilized. 3. Are sticky to the touch and contain a tiny crushed beetle inside, all of the same species. Please do better!

Not really amber. But the bugs look pretty good.

This is not amber, its some sort of yellow/orange dyed epoxy with a recently dead incent inside it. I actually have genuine amber, and this stuff isn't amber. Real amber is way much lighter then this stuff and the touch is somewhat stimulating to the point of almost electrical. However the price for these 5 manmade "amber" are justified. I guess you get what you paid for...if you're willing to spend $3.20 for each decorative jewelry. And it is a jewelry because each one has a hole drilled into them which I missed when purchasing them. And something to be classified as a fossil, it has to be older then a few decades old. These insects look like they been RECENTLY terminated. I'm not completely disappointed in this purchase since I'm going to use them for my day-dream catchers... ironically.

Very cool, but definitely not fossilized natural amber. Makes a good gift for students who learn hands on.

When I purchased these, I read the ad very careful. I was clear that these pieces were "natural amber". That is a lie. There is nothing natural about these at all, except maybe the non-fossilized bug they stuck in the resin they used. Totally false advertising. I mean, they look nice....but when I told my customers I was getting "real amber" in and this fake stuff showed up, that reflected poorly on my company.

These are going in the grandkids Christmas stockings! Great color and clearity. Each one has a different bug so no " he' s got my bug" problems. I know they are going to be excited over their " fossil" .

Well crafted. Looks almost identical to natural amber. Nice specimens within. Great addition to one's collection.

Just a little too big but good for the price

Not bad. One bug was super tiny. Wasnt even half the size. Got a crab which was meh.. the rest was better.
