The scissors are very sharp & easy to use

My initial reaction to these were not positive as they came apart in my hands and I thought they were broken. However, after some inspection, I realized they were designed to come apart, which makes cleaning easier.They are very sharp and seem to cut well but I need to test them with a turkey or chicken to really test them, but they appear sturdy and sharp. They have some aspects of a "multi-tool" but I never thought of using scissors for things like a bottle opener, so that wasn't a big thrill for me. However, they do seem to be sharp, comfortable and easy to clean.Time will tell how they hold up but I am happy so far.

Boy, I have been waiting a long time to find a good pair of scissors. This pair of kitchen scissors are just perfect. I have a hard time gripping things in my hands, the older I get, but not with these scissors. They are easy to grip and are sturdy. I can cut up my chicken into pieces easier, as well as, a piece of beef. Now cleaning is a breeze. The scissors come apart easily to clean, just be careful of the sharp blades. I am so happy that I have found these scissors. They make my kitchen cutting so much easier.

Will cut ANYTHING!!! Everything is great about these scissors, except the bottle opener and pry key on the end of the handle. I've got a little sleeve on the side on my knife block, and have hit these protrusions twice when reaching for them. They're sharp and too small to be of much use; probably going to visit Mr. Grinder. Also not sure what the serrated, outside edge is for on one of the blades-- zesting maybe? Generally over-engineered, but they'll definitely be a tool I'll grab preparing for the zombie apocalypse.

I have owned a pair of poultry scissors for 50 years. With growing arthritis in my hands, they were no longer useful. This new pair works better for me when cutting up poultry; I do not have to exert as much force to cut backbones or open up joints.. They are much easier to clean since they come completely apart. They are great for tackling heavily-packaged items. I am very pleased with them.

I have always had bad luck with kitchen scissors. I usually pay little for them because I don’t use them much. However, I’ve been cooking more and more so I’ve noticed it’s the little things that bring joy in the kitchen. Having these kitchen scissors be so easy to use (obviously, they’re scissors) and actually work, even on the plastic bags of powdered sugar and such, makes my time in the kitchen more enjoyable.

I love this pair of kitchen scissors. It is so sharp I use it for meat and the like, instead of using knife and cutting board. I just cut up shrimps fish into smaller pieces. Plan to use it and replace it when it is no longer sharp. Very easy to clean too because it can be taken apart by only one turn.

The only reason I gave a 4 Star rating is that the handy feature of being able to separate the scissors also causes the scissors to come apart occasionally. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.
