Straightener works extremely well! It heats up very fast, in minutes. I usually use a thicker straighten, but the quality of this thin one is just as good. I like that it locks, for safety; I haven’t had another straighten like that. I was able to get my hair pin straight. You can also do a nice curl, by rolling as you use. As a bonus, you get clips, that have a good grip, to help section off your hair.

I bought this to replace a $15 job that I bought a few years ago at Walmart. This one is much better. My hair gets fried easily, so I have to be careful using an iron. The old one had low, medium, and high settings, but overheated on low if left on for more than four or five minutes. This one has actual temperature settings and seems to heat up reliably to and then stay put at those settings. The titanium plates are smooth and so far my hair isn't catching in anything. My one knock is that it is advertised to heat in 30 seconds but takes 50 seconds by the second hand on my watch to reach the lowest setting. No that big a problem. Overall, I think this is a great value for the price.

I have oily, wavy and fine hair.I want to find hair straighter that works well without spending so much.This hair straighter works well.One of the great feature about this product is the temperature control. It literally works in 40 seconds to reach the highest temperature which is 450. A green light will show when reached desire temp.I wish you the temperature was digital but it’s a dial and sometimes it can be moved without notice. To turn off, just turn the dial until you here a click.I have Long bob. It takes me about twenty minutes to do my hair when lightly damp.The hair straighter does work best with small section than larger. There is an area in the straighten iron that catch hair but I can’t seem locate it. I just feel it.The hair does get very hot after each time. When touch the hair after straighten will cause hot sensitivity.I used it for several weeks now. It hasn’t damage my hair. Very important because I do have bleached dye hair at ends. Since my cut requires the use of a straighten iron, I appreciate that it’s not damaging my hair.It leaves your hair feeling light, sleek and no frizz after every use.Thank you for taking a minute out of your busy life to read my review. Returned because it pulled my hair and my hair was catching at the edge of the plates!

This is the best flat iron I've ever had. It heats up quickly and just glides over my hair, plus so many features to love: red/green light lets you know when it's ready, locks in closed position for safety, and shuts off automatically if left unattended (I haven't had to rely on this feature yet, but it gives me peace of mind!). Only downside is that the cord is much longer than necessary and is prone to tangling in storage, but that's very minor. Overall, I'm glad I read previous reviews and went with their recommendation to buy--you'll love it too!

Wow!! I have used cheap straighteners that fried my hair, and have used my CHI that I liked. This one is def the best bang for your buck!! Roll dial heat setting control and frizz less heated paddles. My hair doesn’t feel fried, and is actually pretty shiny. I use argon oil before my hair dries, but it didn’t seem to effect the performance of the straightener. Great product!!

Do not buy anything from this company.This flat iron got plugged in and lived on a vanity table without ever being transported anywhere else, without ever being accidentally left on, without ever being used on the highest heat setting, and without ever being used more than 2 times per week. It literally could not have been used more responsibly or gently. Return window closed at 30 days. At about 40 days post-purchase, I noticed it seemed to be taking an excessive amount of time to reach the medium heat setting. Because the return window closed and I haven't wanted to prioritize taking the time to complain, I've just dealt with the hassle. A number of times, I've left the house without my hair in waves because the flat iron never heated during the entire time I was getting ready for the day. Now, within 6 months of my purchase, it no longer heats at all.

I fried my flat iron in Thailand and was desperate for a quick solution when I arrived home. It works great, is light, and the price was amazing for all the features!Only wish it had digital temperature reading but again, cant be too picky for the value
