Can not keep this thing clean. I don’t know why the filter portion of the unit won’t come in pieces when there are so many areas for slime to form. This puts out a great amount of moisture but worthless if the moisture is adding mold into the air. I am very disappointed. And yes I only used distilled and filtered water and cleaned the unit with vinegar water.

I previously wrote a positive review, but I’m changing it with this edit. I dislike this humidifier for a few reasons, the first being that it is very unsanitary. It is extremely difficult to clean all the nooks and crannies. A significant amount of mold and bacteria builds up in this, which is a big health hazard. The second issue I have is that the “antibiotic” ball things are completely useless. The first time I took the unit apart to clean it, there was a ton of brown slime bacteria build up around the ball things and it smelled terrible. Make no mistake, these are just for the illusion of safety. The last and biggest issue is that the humidifier just completely stopped working today. The button will not respond to touch at all—dead. I had it for one year, but only really used it consistently since the start of this winter, so I would say it worked for about 3 months. It’s garbage. Look elsewhere.

I am very pleased with the quality of this unit. It looks good, it's quiet, no filters to replace, it fits where I wanted to place it. Just received it yesterday, everything tested out fine, but of course the weather changed to rainy, so I don't need it for a few days at least. Because is is near my bed, I didn't want changing LED lights, and I wanted a unit that was quiet and not blowing cold air. I am susceptible to sinus infections when we have Southern California Santa Ana conditions, and my last fill-from-the-bottom humidifier started leaking when I needed it the most. The Homasy is easy to fill, I won't have to take it apart, carry it to the bathroom to fill, and no filters to get crusty or moldy. I'm looking forward to beating the next desert wind with this.

Looks nice. Emits 3 levels of mist, most of which appears to fall back onto the machine or floor. It doesn't hold very much water so you find yourself refilling it a few times a day even when used on the lowest setting.My air purifier scan went up into the 80s on particulate matter & into the red on air quality so I think I'll be sending it back.It also makes an electric noise that is a bit like ringing in your ears, after a while it becomes grating.

This product worked for 3 weeks then stopped. When it worked it was great.UPDATE**Seller reached out and sent me a brand new humidifier that came with a cleaning kit and filter stones. Works great so far! Very pleased with how well it works.It’s obvious these people care about their customers and want them to be happy with their shopping experience. I will be ordering again from them soon.

This machine is gross, it only works half the time, less then a month in and they auto shut off don’t work, it stops blowing mist even with 2+ inches of water in it. The calcium build up in it is impossible to clean! Would never recommend this item!

Works great, lasts all night, I have no trouble with the noiselevel, and I'm a very light sleeper. My biggest issue is the very bright power light, I've got to block that out or it lights the whole room up! I like that it's a top fill, so very easy to top up when I'm running it long term.

Does the trick but a few annoyances: you have to make several trips to the sink to refill it (unless you have a big pitcher) because the tank does not detach. Also if you're planning to use this at night, the indicator lights are BRIGHT! We have to cover them before we sleep. Otherwise a fairly good humidifier. We haven't tried cleaning it yet, so we don't know how easy/hard that will be.
