image is fantastic
great images and I have the 7" which has lower resolution (imagine the 12")! The system is easy to learn to navigate. Keep in mind for sidescan you can not simply add a 2nd HV100 transducer with this unit like you can with other models. If you think you need a 2nd transducer due to motor placement there are other transducers you can get but will cost a lot more. I had to mount mine literally on the bottom of my boat where I have a metal support for the articulating keel (tapped and bolted it on). Without the transom blocking the water it does lose signal above 15-20 mph but I have ran 40mph and the bracket is holding strong (until I hit something in the water). Will come up with a different solution soon. Like I said though image quality is great. Better images than the competition in my opinion. 3D does work as well and It helps you see where the fish are on the sidescan in relation to the boat (sidescan fish are not easy to see). Also I did have to talk to tech support. First person was at a call center reading the same paperwork that I had, she transferred me to a couple other guys and one of them REALLY knew what he was talking about. He was very helpful.

Simple to navigate and finally a unit that comes with a transducer under 1000.00
Absolutely Love It
