Budget Ergonomic Mouse that doesn't compromise on quality.
Vertical mice saved my wrists. As someone who works on a computer all day, I was getting severe wrist pain. Made the jump a few years ago and just reordered same product after four years and have only positive things to say. First, the ergonomics. I can use this all day without tiring or pain. I even use the vertical mouse for some casual gaming (hence also prefer wired so no latency delays), and it works great. You get used to it very quickly and the customization between DPI is great! Turns out the extra buttons are also a great feature as well, often using it to go back and forth between history (or even custom mapping in games). All in all, great product if you care about your health while not spending $50+

Analog Stick is Just a D-Pad on a Stick
This is my first vertical mouse and I'm surprised at how quickly I was able to adapt to odd shape. I was in the market for a new gaming mouse and this interested me greatly because of the inclusion of the analog stick. It was very comfortable to hold compared to traditional horizontal mice and I don't think I can ever go back to using horizontal mice again. However when I got this mouse, I had to look for the website to download the mouse drivers to fully utilize it. Unfortunately the drivers are in bad English and it was very confusing to navigate through. Figuring what everything did was trial and error as nothing is explained well. For example: "Application" in the bottom right corner of the program actually means "Apply" but I originally thought it meant launch a certain profile with a certain program. I later found out that to do that, there's a check mark box that's called "Correlation program". The program is quite limited as well as you're stuck with only TWO profiles. I would've liked way more than this. I tried to make the analog stick and use it to move the mouse cursor but doing so took me about three hours of trial and error. And in the end it was all for nothing because the analog stick was a lie. It's actually not an analog stick. It's more like a D-pad with a stick. So you have to move the stick all the way in one of the 4 directions you want in order to trigger the key or macro. This made the mouse endeavor a complete waste of time and it also made using the default WASD configuration almost useless in FPS games as you have to take time to move the stick all the way for it to register your key. The analog stick was a really cool concept I just wish it could actually be used as an analog stick instead of a D- pad with a stick. The forward side button was also something I had a gripe with. It's a bit too far for my small hand to comfortably reach, so I have to shift the entire mouse just so my thumb can access it. RGB was something I didn't really care about. It's there and the program you download with the mouse has the basic options to change the colors. I also tried to use the "Armoury" feature which I had no idea what it was about since again, there is no documentation on it. Basically you use it in FPS games to make the mouse cancel out the recoil of the gun which sounds great but in actuality I tried and tried to get it to work. It just didn't work well for me. Some games probably detect that as a cheat or something and it flat out doens't do anything. In others it does move the mouse down, but since recoil pattern is sort of randomized and you have to individually "correct" every bullet, it just isn't worth using. Unless you play FPS games with guns that have the same recoil every time. All in all, it's a great vertical mouse with a gimmicky analog stick that doesn't really work well in games or at all. Note: i have Driver Ver 1.0 and there may be an updated version that fixes all of these issues I have with it.

Really Cool
This is a great mouse; it feels great in the hand, and just looks really cool. The resolution indicitaor lights on top look cool, and the flowing multicolor lightbars on the bottom look really slick as well. The thumbstick on top is especially nice, and is really great for easily adjusting the map in RTS and tactical wargames (such as BattleTech, which I play A LOT.) The bottom two thumb buttons are placed just a bit too far forward and can be a little hard to reach, but that will depend on the angle of your arm and how you hold the mouse (they would be much better if they were positioned just a bit further back, closer to the palm.) I got this mouse because about two months ago I suddenly developed a really bad case of tendonitis in the middle two fingers of my mouse hand, to the point that my finger knuckle went *CLUNK* every time I bent my finger, and eventually I couldn't even close my fist. I had seen upright ergonomic mice like this before and thought they looked cool but I never had a reason to justify the cost of buying one before, but when I developed the tendonitis I decided I'd give one a try to see if it helped. And thankfully after starting to use this mouse instead it cleared up after a few weeks. I had initially worried that it would be hard to get accustomed to this new style of mouse with my hand in a different position, but I quickly realized that it was actually easier for me and gave me even more control than with a standard mouse; the position of your hand on the mouse allows you to rest the heel of your palm on the mousepad, allowing you fine precision control over the movement of the mouse. You just need to make sure that your mousepad has a surface that isn't too slick or the mouse can slide all over the place the moment you take your hand off it. I only wish it was wireless, since I use a laptop that I literally sit on my lap and the cable can get in the way, but that isn't any kind of complaint against this mouse in particular; the cable is actually really nice and coated in a woven fabric material that keeps it from getting all tangled and knotted up. Overall it's a really nice mouse, and I consider it well worth the price.

Almost a perfect vert gaming mouse. Killed by poor design choices
I've reviewed 7 other vert mice available on Amazon and this was at the top but it's not gonna make the cut in the long run. The most major issue is the Teflon pads seem to be embedded with rough particles. They are tearing up my mousepad. Yes I removed the plastic film cover. Other mice do not have this same problem. Second major issue is after 3 weeks use, it's already registering double misclicks on mouse 1. The sensor works great, tracks well, Works up to 1000hz polling rate and has solid high DPI. The construction is pretty good otherwise. Feels solid. Maybe a lil small for my US size large hand. The d-pad thing is confusingly poor. It emulates keyboard buttons. Has no diagonals. Can't be used as an "analog" joystick. Is in a very odd position that makes it hard to use at the same time as other buttons. The DPI button is in a bad position, can be easily triggered when going for the mouse wheel. Thankfully this button can be disabled in the software config. Thankfully the LED lights can be turned off completely. Zelotes, please work on improving this mouse. There's only one other that's better than yours and it still has problems. There is no high quality vertical gaming mouse available from any company currently.

Awesome Mouse for Smaller Hands
This Zelotes vertical mouse is 4.5” long, 3.25” high, 3” wide. It has a colorful light strip at the bottom when active and comes with preset function defaults. It is advertised to have 11 programmable settings, but it is really 9 since most people will maintain the left-click and right-click button defaults. It comes with a Zelotes CD that allows you to customize each function. I have a small hand (3.25” inch from bottom of thumb to bottom of palm) with thick, stubby fingers so this mouse felt extremely comfortable compared to other vertical mice I had previously used. I liked the fact that the joystick was easily accessible and could serve as 5 functions. My fat thumb found it easier to utilize the joystick with better accuracy than other mice that have a number “keypad” on the left side of the mouse. All of the functions were easy to activate except for the “forward button” which I have to stretch my thumb to reach. The vertical mouse construction is easier on my wrist compared to the traditional mouse. This is the best vertical mouse I have come across for a smaller hand. Pros: Easy to install and set up Well constructed with quality materials Smaller product frame was excellent for my small hands The joystick provided 5 functions that were easily accessible The vertical nature was easier on my wrist for long-term use Improved my gaming skill activation time Snazzy colorful light strip at the bottom Cons: People with bigger hands might not like this function layout or size Made only for right-handed people

Waste of plastic, terrible quality, MANY MANY red flags
Absolutely TERRIBLE product all around. KEY POINTS.... (1) Directly out of the box, the stick drift is so bad, it makes a 30 year old N64 controller look like it has a Hall Effect stick. (2) Manufacturer's website uses (http://) protocol for anyone to access the installation software, customization, drivers, etc. So, there's a high possibility of malware (IMO). (3) Overall terrible quality. I was looking for a vertical mouse to help ease the strain on my wrists since while playing games on my PC. Having CTS (carpel tunnel syndrome) and RA(Rheumatoid arthritis), my wrists and hands are easily fatigued so I decided to give this mouse a try. The stick drift on the joystick is atrocious. For something that is meant to be used as your WASD substitute for games, the joystick should be robust, given the use it will get while gaming. The manufacturer was nice enough to include a micro disk for the software installation, but let's all remember what year it is. It's 2025 in case the manufacturers of this product aren't aware, and computer's with disk drives are few and far between. My issue isn't with them including the disk, it's more along the lines of not having SAFE access to the software for everyone else. The manufacturer choosing to use an http protocol for their website is littered with red flags. There are too many people that wouldn't think anything of it and visit the website to download the installation software (along with computer AIDS....probably). The product just reeks of red flags so, don't waste your money.

The C-18 is THE vertical gaming mouse.
I'm an FPS player and needed a mouse that could support fast and precise movements like flicking and reduce the chronic wrist pain I was experiencing with my Logitech G502. Before finding the C-18 I looked at dozens of vertical mice across Amazon, NewEgg, PCPartPicker, Fry's, etc. I tried a couple different vertical mice out before this one, but they all had low IPS (how many inches per second the mouse can handle) and would lose track as soon as I made any fast movements. As far as I can tell this is the only vertical mouse on the market that can handle serious gaming. I've been using it for about a month now, and my wrist hasn't felt this good in over a year. This thing stands up to any Corsair, Logitech, or Razer mouse I've used. Also, the description doesnt do justice to the customization options. The DPI settings are just the pre-installed ones. If you download the software from the Zelotes website you can dial the DPI anywhere from 400 up to the max in increments of 100, which is amazing for a mouse at this price. The software also lets you remap all the buttons, even the DPI toggle button. Some other comments/observations: - The mouse wheel is nicely notched for weapon swapping. - The hand grip texture feels nice. It's not rough, just slightly rubberized so if your palms sweat it doesnt get slippery or oily. - The right mouse button takes a little more force to actuate near the base—so if you use a claw grip it may take some getting used to. - The thumb joystick on top feels thrown in and doesnt really add anything (thought even without it this is a great mouse). The stick is not eaily reachable. Since you need your thumb to hold the mouse against your palm when you move the mouse, you cant really operate the thumbstick and move the mouse at the same time. The joystick movements also feel like they have delayed reaction compared to all the other buttons. - In the most comfortable/natural hand position your thumb does not have great access to the forward thumb button. - The mouse comes with an extra set of rubber pads for the bottom if the originaps wear out. The pads offer smooth movement, but have very little friction on some mouse mats. I like a little more drag, so I lightly scored mine with a pair of scissors and that fixed it. If you are looking into vertical mice for gaming or if you have wrist pain from gaming, I cannot recommend this mouse enough.
