Nice shoe.
Looks to be a good quality shoe so far, fits well. The only downside is that it's mostly suede, so it looks more like a very dark gray than true black. The laces are somewhat annoying, they have a heavy texture, so are hard to pull tight, and one end is already off. They can be replaced though, I suppose. I like that the soles do not have deep lugs to trap mud, helps keep your vehicle clean.

the upper is coming apart after a very short time.
These guys fit as expected, and a comfortable all day long, but I'm concerned by the fraying I'm experiencing already on the upper around my ankle, it's only happening on one pair so I'm hoping this is a freak occurrence and not a design flaw.

inexpensive yet good working shoes...
you can never go wrong for the price of this pair of shoes. i work in a home improvement store and on my feet for 8 to 10 hours a day on concrete floor. so far it has hold its own by providing me more than basic protection. i haven't seen any signs of wear and tear on this pair i have since i bought it 2 1/2 months ago. the traction could be improved though so my suggestion would be for them to come out with slip resistant soles, then it would be an almost perfect work shoe for me. overall i am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend them for light to medium duty use.

THIS IS NOT A WORK BOOT/SHOE!
These "boots" or "shoes" have a "felt" cap over a HARD (steele) toe, they call if composition toe. NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE!

A must buy if you want comfort in a safety shoe
I like these. They are very comfortable. They fit perfect & they are way lighter than wearing a boot

Lightweight, look great, cheap price but not made to last!
I ordered these boots in 3 March and I use them almost every day for warehouse work and occasional for just casual wear. They are pretty lightweight compared to other shoes I have used and work great safety wise as I have never had any slips or falls even on black ice wearing them. They look sleek and pleasing to look at and from a casual observation it’s hard to tell they safety boots. However I am disappointed by there durability not even a a few months old and the laces frayed away and the inner interior fades and wears away fairly quickly even with careful removal of my foot. 10 months in and the soles have already begun to wear away noticeably in dry conditions but getting them damp seems to expedite it as over the last two months the soles have started falling apart on both shoes. Which is worrisome with us weather being usually damp more regular than not. The other problem which i suppose might just be that their shoes not boots they provide no protection above the sole from the back of the heel and must be weary when using equipment that can bump you there like pallet trucks. I am satisfied but wish they would last longer than they have since buying boots yearly simply won’t do.

An economic toe-cap protection shoe but build quality could be a bit better.
Whilst they do the job intended (providing a safe toe-cap option at work), I have found a couple of issues with the shoe that are annoying. Firstly, the laces are very poor. Within a week or so, the black casing around the lace was quick to fall apart in both shoes leaving the inner lace poking out of the lace. This subsequently also happened to the other shoe too so the laces are clearly not strong enough for this kind of shoe. The only option is to cut the lacing casing off each shoe. Bit annoying, and it might just be a bit of rogue stock, but still a bit disappointing. Although they aren't adverttised as waterproof, I was a bit surprised at how easy it was to get ones sock a bit wet. It's not all bad. They are not uncomfortable or too heavy to wear and they don't look like work shoes. In fact, I often wear them for dog walking or going somewhere where the surface is tricky or uneven. I'm a size 9 and they fitted reseanably well. They were also reasonably priced when I purchased them so overall I'd say they are ok option. It will be interesting to see how the last as they aren't the kind of shoe you can just throw your foot in because the back end doesn't look like it could handle that kind of treatment.

Fantastic shoes
Bought these as a necessity for working in a warehouse that has airport style security. I can confirm that these do not set off the scanners and save on all the time and faffing around compared to going through the same scanners wearing steel-toe safety footwear. As for the fit and comfort, well I actually started wearing them away from work too as they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have owned in years. If you buy these, you won't be disappointed. Others have commented that they are heavy. Well yes, heavier than a pair of running shoes for sure but nowhere near the weight of my steel-toe boots. These are well made shoes too. Not a stitch out of place. All that and a 6 month guarantee on the sole. Absolute bargain for the price!

Excellent shoes, love ‘em.
After having had a few experiences of safety shoes/boots that were plain uncomfortable and would crucify me after just a few hours of wear, I was on the lookout for a new pair. These popped up on Amazon, the reviews seemed pretty solid, so I thought I’d give them a go.Verdict: Excellent.I’ve had them for a few months now, and I wear them 9-5 as part of my active job, on my feet all day. The toes are roomy enough to give my wide feet plenty of space, the shoes are nice and lightweight, the soles are nicely cushioned - upshot is that I can wear them all day without any of the aches and pains I’d been used to with previous pairs - even at the end of the day. They even breathe pretty well, so my feet aren’t getting hot and bothered. So far they’re not showing much sign of wear either, so very impressed indeed.EDIT: 4 months after the above review, the front sole started to separate from one of the shoes, and no amount of gluing would persuade it to stay on (I do abuse shoes in my line of work). That said, I was so impressed with the overall comfort, lightness and durability, I promptly bought another pair. As of now, 16 months later, they feel as good as new, and would probably look so too if I could be bothered to clean them.

Purchased Second Pair 12 months on from First Pair - Better Soles
This is my second pair and overall, they are far better than the first pair I purchased... Seems the manufacturer may have listened to the feedback as the heel and sole is more durable without loosing the flexibility. The metal rings still take their toll on the laces but I've found if I don't lace up through the top orange hole they last a bit longer.Overall, really pleased with my second pair and have/would recommend these to delivery drivers comfortable and light with good grip in the wet... and on green algae covered paths :-)
