Smooth, quiet, powerful, well made. Excellent tool.
The 3 phase motor is powerful, and unit can run for hours on end, without problems. Use; General machine shop support equipment.

It works, so far...
Ordered this unit because the 16" disc\belt combos are almost impossible to find, now, 16" being the first choice of the Lab Manager who this was ordered for. Performance and quality are on par with the price; giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of price shift between time of locating this unit, and when approval was given from corporate to make the purchase; AND because of conflicting info between the container\documentation and the drive motor serial plate. BUT...the unit wired up and worked successfully. We use it exclusively on metal, if that tells you anything - stainless and alloy steels.
