The filament of halogen candle bulb is made of ductile tungsten and located in a gas-filled lamp just like a standard tungsten bulb, however, the gas in a halogen bulb is at a higher pressure. The glass bulb is made of Fused quartz, high-silica glass. This dimmable light bulb is stronger than the standard GLASS to contain the high pressure. Illuminating experiences await - at a snip of the high street and supermarket price.
Thoroughly recommended. These last much longer than the cheap ones bought at a market...yet remarkably cost LESS per bulb! Astounding value. Lumination on a par with similar bulbs three times the price. Fits perfectly in various ceiling and free standing lights at home. Ok, it's only a bulb - but so far no complaints. At the price quoted, you can't go wrong. Why oh why spend three to five times the price in a supermarket?!

Don't Last Long
These bulbs do not last the 'Average Rated life 2000hrs' as stated in the advert, they blew so quickly I have used 8 bulbs within 3½ months.Very disappointed in these and will not buy again.

Will buy again!
Great price, much cheaper than buying individually which would have cost about £40. Packaging ideal but wont fit through the letter box which is only negative. Perfect lighting level I can't comment on durability only just received. Will buy again so far.

Just buy. Really good value and last forever. I'm still on first bulb and heavy user!
Amazed at quality! Price! Been paying £8 for 2 bulbs in Asda that lasted 3mths max (I use light as dim nightlight). THESE LAST SO LONG. I'm still on first bulb 6mths on!

Chandelier
Ideal for my new chandelier with a dimmer switch. No idea on longevity yet.Update: three bulbs went one after the other within two months. Downgraded to three stars as a result

Only last a few weeks!
Purchased these in July 2019 so far I've replaced three they have lasted 8/10 weeks, not as they state on the box two years!I won't be purchasing these again.

not impressed
already 2 have blown from separate lamps for no reason as both lamps we had had for a while with other bulbs in so I know wiring ok, both blown when switching them on
