It works great. I dont know why I did not by it earlier. It took a little long to arrive, but totally worth it.

nice long cord, seems durable
I've had a lot of trouble with the power cord that comes with the SurfacePro. It frays at the attachment to the AC transformer. On my last model, I went through more than three power cords over the life of the computer. This cord design actually seems more durable. I hope so, but so far so good! I also like the velcro cord strap that keeps it all coiled in my backpack. I'd still recommend putting the whole thing in a container of some sort (at least a ziplock bag) for extra protection. I'm pretty rough on things and I still worry these think cords with their plastic attachments might break over time.

One problem
I had a problem with the first one I bought. After about a month or two of use the end fell apart. I bought another and so far it's been great. It's the length I needed.

Good replacement
I was looking to replace a standard power cord that failed out of warranty and found Microsoft's offering a little too pricy for easy comfort. So I gave this one a try. After a few weeks, I'm happy with it. The plug prongs aren't folding but for me that was never a priority. The plastic housing is solid, the connector slots in well to the surface, and it charges perfectly fine. The indicator light is also in a better position for my case (facing straight out). I can't say yet if it will outlast the original but so far I don't have reason to believe it won't. Overall, good replacement.

Works as described
The cord fits properly and works as it should. Good deal.

Stopped working after a year and a half
Just completely stopped working after about a year and a half. The warranty is for one year and the company didn't do anything about it. I'd rather pay more for a reliable cable that lasts longer.

Extra length is great
This product is so good and so reasonable that I bought a second one to leave plugged in. The rather short and strange proprietary plug for surface go is sometimes a problem. The extra length is very helpful.

Opción cuestionable
Muy mal producto en cuanto a calidad, sí cumple con su función de carga, sin embargo el conector es sumamente fragil a la semana se "desarmo" al caerse una "tapa" en la punta, por lo que comienza a "resbalar" el circuito hacia afuera y ahora ni enciende la luz indicadora de carga, en lo personal no lo recomiendo
