The media could not be loaded.  Here is the thing about these OBS scanners, they come in all levels of ability to troubleshoot your problems, the more knowledge you have the more you can get out of models like this one that are closer to a professional model than most. It comes securely packed and an amazingly useful manual (someplace many fail). I can tell you I knew it was a more professional model as soon as I opened it up, I own 4 OBD scanners, 1 is a thingy that you plug in and it talks to your phone, sadly it lies a lot and you can't trust the reading. I have 2 others 1 of which is kinda mediocre and another which is exceptional for people of my skill level but this baby can do everything I want it to do and a lot of things I have no clue about but if you have a lot more automotive knowledge than I do (setting the bar pretty low I can tell you) this tool can be a miracle worker. You can buy cheaper models that will do the job of clearing codes but if you know what you are doing this might be the one you need since I am not sure what they have at the Firestone store that this one does not do.Bottom Line: High quality, near professional OBD scanner at a back year mechanic price - 5 Stars

This is a very nice scanner for the price. It came in a nice looking, very well packaged hard case storage box. I have tried this scanner with 6 different cars that I have and it seemed to work fine on all of them. The DTC code data was easy to get and was spot on with the code descriptions. You can also print the scan data from a computer using the USB cable provided in the kit. Menus were easy to navigate as well. Real time data such as fuel consumption was also easy to see and understand. It comes with a good manual but I haven’t really read it much as the tool is easy to use without a lot of instruction. The only drawback to this tool is that it did not work well with my 2007 Chevrolet Duramax Diesel truck. That vehicle was unsupported. Overall though, a very good product.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this after my mechanic gave me a very fishy list of things that have to be done to my car, so after that I just did a bit of research and got this OBDII scanner so I know what my car may have and by being hands on there is almost not way that the mechanic can mess with me, specially being a female, my husband got another one too by the way, we keep one in each car, I chose this one because to me is very nice looking hehe 😁and comes with the storage case. I received my code reader and it works great. It was able to read my Dodge 2009 Ram error code with no problems and also has some great extra features. The 3 star review is from them not sending the free Bluetooth reader. I ordered this on November 3rd 2019 and have yet to receive it. I don't know a lot about cars so I was originally worried about how difficult this would be to use and understand. I've been having a problem with my Subaru lately and wanted to give this a try before bringing it in to the mechanic. I plugged it in and started the car. With just one button, I was able to see that my catalytic system was operating below the recommended threshold. A yellow light on the device also signaled the problem. I brought the car into the mechanic and he confirmed what the VXDAS OBD2 showed. Amazing. This will be so nice to have when my check engine light comes on!! Great purchase!!

Very nice yet did not come with nice box that it was represented with. Seems to do a good job. Just little disappointed.

Package came, very nice and professional. All the components I needed to attach and scan my check engine lights. It was simple to use, very easy to use and understand. I would recommend this to have on hand for your everyday use. I drive an old Honda and love to fix things myself as they go out. My car has 322,500 miles so I will for sure use this product many times over. I would recommend it.

Product did not come with a case as advertised, and straight out of the box it did not turn on, tested on 2 different vehicles. Just will not turn on lcd or lights it'd just dead. No option to replace only return and would only refund after item is returned then the refund would not ne processes for up to 5 days after.Really not happy with the refund/replacement service.
