CANMAKE Mermaid Skin Gel UV 02 White

In case there was any doubt, with how "whitening" this sunscreen is, yes, it is a mineral sunscreen. If you want something that won't leave a white cast, you'll want the Mermaid Skin Gel 01, not 02. That one is a chemical sunscreen. There are a lot of reviews complaining about the white cast on this product, but I think that's simply because no one bothered to look at the ingredient list and thus weren't expecting what they got.Putting aside those disclaimers, the sunscreen is actually pretty nice. I have mostly oily skin and am quite pale, so I didn't mind that it isn't moisturizing and went on very white. It worked spectacularly under my makeup, and worked like a slightly color-correcting primer since I have bright cheeks due to rosacea. Canmake has yet to disappoint me. I think I'll use this one specifically for makeup days, and continue using their chemical sunscreen for no-makeup days.

I’ve had both good and bad experiences with this sunscreen. Like many others, I bought this sunscreen on accident when I was looking for the “clear” version. But I figured what the heck, I’ll give it a shot since I’m always looking for good sunscreen option.The consistency of the product is pleasant at first, but application can be REALLY tricky. If my skin isn’t prepped just right with moisturizer, or I manipulate the product a little too much, the white substance in the formula clumps together and makes a pasty mess on my face.This is particularly problematic for me, because I am prone to dryness and my skin tends to soak up some of the product. As I’m trying to spread the sunscreen on my face, it sinks in and I am left with white clumps.A few times I have used this sunscreen and it has applied nicely and not clumped up. But unfortunately the spreadability issue makes this product just a bit too fussy for everyday use on my face.I do appreciate the rest of the formulation (besides the white flecks). So I still plan to try the clear version. I will use up the rest of this tube on my arms.

This stuff works awesome under my make up it’s very moisturizing to my sensitive skin.Why is the 02 white no longer sold here? I love the illuminating cast. It has a beautiful pearlesque finish but the only thing available is the clear :(

the name gel is misleading. it's creamy white sunblock that leaves a white cast. overall, i don't mind it because I have fair light asian skin but if you have darker skin, this might leave slight white residue on your skin. overall, it's not greasy but it's not moisturizing either. I usually put it on a heavy moisturizer and it leaves a supple matte finish. overall, I like it enough to buy it again. I can't tell on sun protection because I don't really use this for heavy staying in the sun

I bought this sunscreen (purple label) on Amazon and loved it. When I went to repurchase, the seller I had previously bought from before was gone, so I got this one instead. I initially realized the difference in label colors, but assumed it was just rebranding. However, when I applied the sunscreen to my face it left a white cast that the other sunscreen never gave me. The texture of the sunscreen was different too. Disappointed to say the least.

It has a white tint to your skin it just make your skin look more white But it blends in so fast Best Spf ever!

This sunscreen feels amazing on the skin and works great under makeup. No burning or stinging even on skin being treated with anti aging chemicals. It comes in two different tones. This one is a "tone up" color that makes your skin look whiter and if that's not the effect you wanted you can't really cover the witness with makeup effectively. The other one is clear. I'll be ordering that one next.

This is a very nice sunscreen. The tube is very small,however.

ラロッシュポゼの日焼け止めに似ているという噂だったので購入してみました。どちらも持っているので使い比べしてみましたが、ほぼ一緒。キャンメイクの方が着け心地が若干軽いかな？肌に程よい油分を残してくれるので、この下地を使うとファンデーションがテカらないし崩れません！似た使用感で４分の1以下の値段だったらこちらで決まりでしょう。無くなるのが不安なので数本まとめ買いしました。

01番の方を愛用していたのですが、あまりに透明でスルスル伸びるので日焼け止め効果に不安を感じて、こちらも買ってみました。びっくりするほど白くなって、一昔前の日焼け止めを思い出しました。塗っていないところとの肌色の差がありすぎて不自然なので、使いづらいです。01に戻ります。

肌がトーンアップするところは気に入っていますが、時間の経過とともに（わりと早くに）Tゾーンが浮いてしまいます。これは私の肌の特徴なので、仕方ないのですが、こまめなメイク直しが必要です。

41歳、くすみが気になったり、化粧崩れが気になったり色々悩みのある混合肌です。この商品を日焼け止め&下地に使用したところ、ナチュラルにトーンアップしてくれるし、ファンデーションのノリも良いです。化粧の崩れやすさに対しては、そこまでの効果は得られませんが、この値段なら優秀です！

昨年だか、それまで使っていたキャンメイクの下地が廃盤になってしまい、気に入ってたので、途方にくれましたが、こちらを試しに購入したらよかった。今回、つい別のものを購入し使用したら、べとべとして気持ち悪く・・・やっぱこれを買い直し・・・コレコスパもいいし、最高です。入れ物も可愛いし、また年齢を重ねるとパッケージが変わると分からなくなるので、このままのデザインだとありがたいです♪
