Great for insulating metal roofing!
Ordered this Smart Shield reflective insulation to prepare for a metal roof and I was amazed at how well this worked to keep the heat off the house. Its July and yes, its roofing time. Sometimes you just do the projects when you can, right? So I ordered this 24"x50ft from Amazon and it made it fine, but when I ordered the 48"x100ft- well, it was undeliverable. Got a refund, and just ordered directly from Smart Shield. They were great! So if you need a lot of this- I suggest going to their website to order. Back to the product review: this is only 3mm, so very thin, but very effective. Also, I have to say how glad I was for cloudy (not rainy) days when putting this stuff up because once the sun hits this, its like looking across the lake or bright white snow- its pretty blinding! And the heat radiating off this can be pretty intense on a hot summer day! Overall, this was comparable to other brands of reflective insulation. I just prefer this over the bubbles. I'm sure there are multiple uses for this- indoors/garage, RV, vehicle, etc. It certainly seems worth the price! Great company to work with, too!

Lowered our electric bill!!!
We have a skylight in our living room in the vaulted ceiling and it was keeping the living room sooooo hot! It was making the AC run so much more than it should have so we ended up with an electric bill of almost $1000 for an 1800 sf house. We bought a roll of this stuff and double layered it and added a blackout curtain to cover it and our electric bill dropped by about $400! We also put a single layer of it over the drop stairs in the hallway with the white side showing and it has made a huge difference in the temp of the hallway since we did!

Good stuff!
Used it for garage door insulation. Easy to cut and install. Applied it with spray glue and is holding fine. I did notice a difference in temperature control, it is now warmer in my garage.

Great in RV
Great for inside the RV. Keeps it nice and cool in the Texas summer heat. Easy to cut and appreciate the white inside to help make it brighter inside.

Decreases the heat
I cut this product ( 24x50 ) to fit my garage door windows ( quick and easy if you make a template ) I cut just slightly larger then the window and I just pushed it in the grooves so there wasn’t any need for tape) 10 small windows which let in a lot of heat but since installing this product it has decreased the heat dramatically, it will also make your garage dark . Just leave your garage light on I always do, use a LED bulb. Works great, highly recommended!

You cant beat this product. Pliable enough yet great for insulatio.n. far less bulky and easier to cover. Can use a staple gun effectively
