Slides really well
Exactly what we were expecting. Works great! Slides a great deal to adjust for height. You can also adjust its starting point when installing

Great for when your friends of different heights want to try out your sim rig...
Review by Sonja's husband) Great item at a great price (way cheaper than any other place I could find it: 50 and that included shipping). Fast shipping. The Playseat sliders that came from Five K Ltd. included an instruction manual on how to install them, which seems to missing from sliders provided by other vendors. Highly recommended seller! The sliders are probably not needed if you are the only one who ever uses the Playseat. I like it because I do endurance races (about 3 hours), and being able to slide forward and backward allows me to keep from getting leg cramps. The sliders really make it easy for my friends to use my Playseat Evolution when they come over to try DiRT Rally and Project CARS. It took about 20 minutes to install, and only required 2 allen wrenches and one box wrench. Just an FYI: to move ("slide") the sliders during installation, you actually squeeze the bar, not push down, which the instructions kind of make it look like you should do. Hard to explain, until you get your sliders and can see what I mean for yourself.

A Quality Item and Very Necessary
This is a very heavy duty item and is automotive in quality. But you will need to review one or two of the other customer feedback items in this list for installation instructions. With that information, the slider unit is easy to install in about a half an hour. You can manage without this item, but every time that you want to exit the seat, you will need to unscrew the adjustment bolt on the telescoping tube that rests on the floor between your feet and slide that tube apart enough to be able to exit. I think it was well worth the price.

It's really a Requirement for the Playseats
Ok so my friend came over to try out my simulator and I had mess up my adjustments on the steering, and pedals to get him to fit, and what's worse his feet still banged on the steering column. So after ordering this and installing it I can now move the seat slightly back enough to get more clearance on the steering column pedal box assembly, plus he can now just sit down and not mess up my settings. Not as stable as a cars rails as you have to make sure you grab the rail in the center and move back slowly. If you do adjust at an angle the seat will be at an angle.... so beware, plus there are no directions so follow what the other reviewers said of the stickers up, handle pointed down when you do the install. Plus you will have to have the seat back part way to put the last two bolts in.. I found this easier on it's side, but probably upside down would have been easier, if I wasn't so lazy as to take off my steering wheel. Once again this really is a requirement for anyone over 5'7" to be able to use the brake and clutch without getting your foot stuck between the steering column and the pedals. only gave it a 4 out of 5 because because of the slight install difficulty (oh yeah watch out there is grease on the bearing so put some towels down to protect your carpet.) and because of accidental angle you can get into if you don't go smoothly centered back.

very smooth adjustment
These seat sliders are a great addition to my Playseat racing seat. It took a few minutes to figure out how to install them, as they did not have any instructions. In the end, they work very smoothly and are very similar to a real car seat adjustment. It's nice to be able to quickly move the seat for different drivers. I would definitely recommend these sliders. Happy Racing!

Good to have
You will need this item if you have different size people using the seat. Not so easy to install but when you do install it you'll see the benefit. Works just like your regular car seat. I'm glad I purchased it. You will also. Now everyone can enjoy the sim racing experience you do.

awesome addition
It's awesome but it should've been included in original set and not sold as an accessory to make even more $$$ Best regards

Must have if you are sharing with friends and family
As others said, it comes with no instructions. Thanks to those provided instructions, and greater thanks to the person uploading the screw/nut diagram. It works exactly like what you have in a non-powered manual slider in cars. If you are using for yourself, then you don't need this. But if have others trying it out, then you need it. Combine it with the standard adjustments on my Playseats Evolution, I can let me 6 year old boy who's 42 inch tall to reach the pedal!
