Powerful blower
I have many Greenworks 40v battery operated yard tools. I like Greenworks as they are reliable and work good. This blower has plenty of power and lasts a long time on 1 battery. Probably lasts about 20 minutes or more on high power setting depending on the state of your battery. It really blows good.

It does a fine job.
Good Blower. It does a fine job on my sidewalks, drive and patio. It's light weight and has plenty of power for around the yard. Good for cleaning floors in the garage... open the door and stand against the back wall... much faster and easier than vac or broom. It's not as powerful as a commercial blower, but then again, it didn't cost that much either.

works for what I need
I took my time reviewing others reviews to decide which one to buy (this review is for the 150mph with no battery included). There is the more powerful one with the option for suction and the lower level one with just 110mph. After using a few times I believe those who rated it lower than what I did just bought the wrong version and thus, not the adequate on for their needs. My thought process was to find which one I could use better, more efficiently. I have a wired electrical one that has plenty of power and is also reversible. I was tired of putting all the long 100ft power cord to blow the clippings and other dirt from my driveway every time I mowed the grass. After all in season I do it every week! On the suction side I only use it in the fall. That said, I even considered the one with 185mph but it seems many did not think it was powerful enough for the job while it had plenty of power for blowing (some complained wet leaves were still hard to blow even with that one). So, since I am going to use a light blower way more than any other function I eliminated that one. The 110mph was easier to eliminate since it seems to struggle even with light tasks. which brings me to this review. The pros: Very light. w/o the battery it is a feather. Incredible how light they can make to electric motors these days Because of the above I can move it around and keep it low to the ground (so it does not raise dust/dirt up) and pointed correctly Since I have not gone through fall with it I cant tell you all about leaves but the normal (quantity) leaves dropped in this weather were blown easily but, I expect it not to be able to work well against piles of wet leaves The battery seems to be good for the needs of the blower. I used the one that was in the mower and not totally depleted yet. It worked in max power for 10 minutes... The not so good: I wished they produced the high powered one just as a blower for a lower price. The selector has power levels from 1 through 6. The lower ones have no use. Even if you buy that one you will need a 4.0Ah battery while this one works fine with a 2.5Ah All in all I think I am happy with it. The power is not great so dropped a star from it but it does what I expected it to do and for the price I paid it is a great tool. By the way, I already had three batteries (2 came with the mower and one with the string trimmer) so, it made this tool quite cheap to add...

Great Leaf Blower
I bought this for the "cordless" ability. The site mentioned a newer version was available. The newer version was almost twice the price of this blower. The specs look like this was maybe a better blower (150MPH / 130 CFM) for speed, but the other could outperform it (130 MPH / 550 CFM). I decided this was the better deal for the price. I doesn't have a battery, but since I bought a Greenworks lawn mower a few years ago, I didn't need the battery. A compatible battery and charger is about $80. I originally thought that a battery and charger was the difference in price for the newer one, but it is the tool only. I'm really happy with the performance of this blower. It's not too heavy and easy to use.

Defective design, blower lasted less than three seasons then fan impeller failed
FINAL FINAL UPDATE: I have used the warranty replacement blower less than two seasons and can see that the identical failure is occurring. The first indication was an increase in noise and vibration. I then could see the cracks propagating from the corners of the square impeller mounting hole. It’s just a matter of time before the impeller breaks free. This is despite the fact that the replacement was used only for very light service, blowing off the porch and clearing the garage at low speed.. I am throwing in the towel on this blower, and have bought a different brand. FINAL UPDATE: Now that I have had the replacement for a week, I decided to tear down the old blower and get a closer look at the failure. I found that the fan was more severely cracked than I had realized, and that it had been rubbing against the blower housing. I also got a good look at the “guts” of the blower. The switch, speed control circuit board and permanent magnet motor all looked to be cheaply made. One positive comments is that the components were made with some level of vibration resistance in mind. Based on the improvement in the customer service I have bumped my rating to two stars. UPDATE: I finally received the replacement blower. Greenworks has upgraded their customer service since the time in June when I originally made the warranty claim, and there was no need to wait on hold for over and hour. It does not appear that there has been any change to the design so I don't have any expectations of improved reliability. My plan is to use it for very light duty, and inspect the fan after every use. I had bought this blower for light service, namely blowing debris off my patio, porch, and walkway. I have a 2-stroke blower for my driveway and autumn leaf roundup. At the end of the 2019 season the Greenworks blower developed a harsh noise and vibration which got increasingly loud this spring. When I examined the fan rotor I could see multiple cracks. It is apparent that the cracks had allowed the fan to come loose on the motor shaft, resulting in the noise and vibration. It is likely that the cracks originated in the corners of the square mounting hole where the fan mounts on the motor shaft. This can be considered to be a weak design...sharp corners have a high stress concentration factor. I was initially pleased to see that my blower was still under warranty, by the customer service was far from stellar. I submitted a warranty claim on the GreenWorks website but got no response other than a email confirmation of my request. After 2 weeks I called the 800 number and was on hold for 50 minutes before getting an agent. He advised that I would get a replacement under warranty but that I had to wait six weeks for the next shipment and then only after I call the toll-free number a second time. Based on other reviews, the same failure has occurred multiple times. This is one of my five Greenworks 40v tools. I have been quite happy with the rest of them and use them within their light-duty limitations, but have no expectations that I will get more than another 2-3 years out of the replacement blower.
