BSI Men's Basic #520 Bowling Shoes

I love these for the money. Great slide, decent looking, comfy as all get-out and absolutely helpful to my game. I'm part of a of casual weekly league and I found the shoes at the alley to be really sticky; almost impossible to bowl in. Additionally, it made no sense, since the shoes were $4 to rent, and these were $30 to own for life.HERE'S THE RUB:They run REALLY large. Like, at LEAST a full size big. More like a size and a half, but please please take my advice, and the other people who have said this about this manufacturer, PURCHASE A FULL SIZE SMALLER or you will be wasting time sending them back.That's the only reason they are getting 4 stars... If you're going to sell clothing of any kind online, it has to fit. Wasting my afternoon ain't cool! It's like they have a bad ruler or something.The felt on the bottom really help for a good slide, but don't get them wet.You'll love these, as ong as you trust me, and buy a size smaller.

I'm not a very active bowler but I started playing when my kids joined a league so we could do it as a family. I didn't like rental shoes but I didn't want to spend a lot on a pair I would use sparingly (see the pun). These shoes fit how I expected, I have narrow feet so they are a little roomy. Most importantly, when I bowl I don't even think about the shoes on my feet anymore. They feel like a normal pair of tennis shoes but with the padding on the bottom for bowling. I'm happy with them.

FIVE STARS:I purchased these bowling shoes for my Son and he loves them and his game has improved greatly, in fact he beat me a couple of games shortly after using the shoes. I don't say that these shoes will improve your game but they will give you more confidence.The shoes are light and well made, easy to tie and resist scuffing.I purchased them for only $28.00 (a pair) but they arrived one day too late for his birthday (my fault) but when we went bowling I presented them to him and he was excited to finally have his 'own' shoes and showed it in his bowling games that night.

I'm very happy with the shoes themselves, but the box was pretty banged up and one of the shoelaces was only held together by a few threads. All I can assume is item was returned and then sent out again. This was not damage from shipping.

Bought a pair of these for me and my son. They didn't slide great right out of the box but after a couple of uses they are fine. They DO run a half size big - despite what others have said. I wear 11 ½ - 12 in every shoe I've purchased for the last 20 years. I bought an 11 ½ and they're "roomy".

I usually buy shoes in size 8.5, and these ran a bit long, but that doesn't matter since I'm not running marathons in them. They are perfect for bowling, and are very comfortable. I have flat feet, and these are nice and flat inside, which suits me very well. The inside is padded just like a sneaker, and they look good too.

These bowling shoes are great. Stylish since it looks like regular tennis shoes. The shoes do run a little big. I would say about a half size bigger from the pair I received. It doesn't slide that much compared to some bowling shoes I've tried on, but that's fine with me since I don't like too much slide anyways. Great shoes for the price, I would recommend it.

I got these purposely a size too big for my son. He outgrows shoes so fast! These shoes are a good quality, bright white, and professional looking. They are so much better than the old shoes you have to rent at the bowling alley! Seriously, who wants to wear shoes that other people have worn?? We participate in the Kids Bowl Free program every summer and so we always save a lot of money by buying our shoes.

I paid very little for my size ($10 for size 6.5) of this bowling shoe in white. I am a lady who fits a size 7.5 to 8 and bought these because they were so inexpensive. They were a little big for my foot but nice and very comfortable. A size 6 men's would have been better.This shoe does the trick for me and saves me from paying shoe rental the odd time I go bowling. I find the slide is really nice and I actually bowled better with these than when I wore the slippery rental shoes. This is a nice basic shoe for someone who occasionally bowls and would rather wear their own. Why didn't I buy these years ago??? I even bought another pair for my significant other.

Ordered my typical shoe size because of other customers reviews saying the fit true, when I knew the rental shoes I used are one size smaller than my typical size. But when they arrived they are a size too big. Wore them anyway. For the price it wasn't work sending them back. They do work fine for beginner shoes. Definitely a cheap shoe though

Can't go wrong for the price. Not the best for sliding however, they get better with use.

Great bowling shoes. Only an amateur bowler .surprised at the quality of the shoes for the price. The sizing was right on .
