Brilliant blades at a great cost
A very good pack of blades which I am still getting through today. They are all individually wrapped (in paper) in packs of 10, the packs double up as a safe disposal method with a slot for spent blades in the bottom. These blades are very sharp and withhold their sharpness for a while.

Appear to be as good as the Wilkinson sword blades for this novice safety razor user.
These are OK, admittedly I don't have too much to compare it to but they're as good as the Wilkinson Sword blades that came with my safety razor, I have coarse facial hair so they're short lived for me, might last longer on finer hair.

My new favourite double-edged razor blade.
I have a Muhle Rocca DE safety razor and have always used Astra green razor blades up to now. However, the price of these has crept up a little so I decided to try the Derby Premium and am now a convert. They give a perfectly close, clean and smooth shave. I never need more than 2 passes to get that ‘baby’s bottom’ feel. They seem very sharp but lack the ferocity of some brands. I have yet to get a nick; in fact shaving with these blades feels remarkably safe. I shave 5 or 6 times a week and change the blade every week and the 6th shave is still fantastic. £6.99 for 100 blades is an absolute steal and will keep me going for just short of 2 years. My only quibble is the use of the plastic razor dispensers (each holding five blades). I know these are recyclable but little card boxes (like the ones used by Astra) are surely better for the environment. Ending on a positive, the protective paper is attached to each blade using significantly less glue than many other brands (I always find the 4 blobs of glue stuck on the blade to be a bit annoying). I’m sure I will stick with these blades for many years to come.

Good Blades, Good Value
I was a loyal consumer of Wilkinson Sword DE blades for many years but when I could no longer find a place to buy them in packs of 100, I looked at these Derby blades and read the other reviews. Having purchased them, I think that they are good blades at a good price. They give at least as good a shave as Wilkinson Sword, possibly better. Buying them 100 at a time makes them very economical and a pack should last me several years. Yes, the pack of 100 is sub-divided into 20 plastic packs of five, but that is less plastic use than other disposable blades. Some reviewers complained that these blades are thin. I compared one with an old Wilkinson Sword blade, by flexing them. The Derby one did feel marginally thinner but this has made no difference to the blade's performance in my opinion. Another complaint was that the blades are hard to extract from the plastic packs. I overcame this easily by turning that pack upside down and then sliding the next blade out with my thumb. Most importantly, I found that the shaving quality was good. Shaving with a Double Edged blade takes more skill than other disposable blades. Creating a good lather with a quality shaving soap or cream, and holding the blade at the optimum angle of about 30 degrees are important. There are some good tutorials on YouTube that helped me improve my technique with a DE razor. I would recommend these Derby Tokai Premium 100 Double Edge Razor Blades.

Looked after properly last a good while
Really good value for money, if the blades are looked after properly they could probably last over 12 months. So well worth the money.

Cheap
Some people love them, they are ok and very cheap, possibly not the sharpest of blades, but do retain the edge nicely.
