works well, good value, but can have slightly fuzzy text
The cable itself is of excellent build. The price was good, it arrived fast and in frustration free packaging. It works exactly as I needed it to, going from Win 10 PC graphics card DisplayPort to HDMI port on television so we can play some VR games in the living room and use this as the primary PC display. In case you're wondering, the only native HDMI port on the graphics card is needed by the VR gear my friend brought over.My only complaint may well not be a problem with the cable but the conversion of DisplayPort to HDMI, in that the screen content using this cable for a Windows 10 PC appears slightly fuzzy. If I use a HDMI port on my PC graphics card to the HDMI port of my TV or monitor, the picture is very clear, even small text. Same if I go DisplayPort to DisplayPort, everything including small text is very clear. And that's what you'd expect, they should be clear. But I was surprised to see that DisplayPort on my PC graphics card to HDMI on my PC monitor appeared noticeably fuzzy, especially text, not perfectly clear. Even from the moment you boot it up and see the BIOS/UEFI text. Could well be due to some conversion issue of DP to HDMI. So just be warned you may have the same experience. It's not so bad that I can't read the text or do all the things on the PC I want to do, just that it's noticeable.

Great company, take note of what the cable supports.
I misread the description and thought it worked from my PC HDMI to my monitor on display port. It works from display port on your PC to HDMI on your monitor.Note that it does not give 144hz even in 1080p, it only supports 60hz.Their customer service is fantastic though, and for that I'm giving 5 stars because the cable works as described.

Perfect for a second monitor if your video card has only one HDMI output
When I added a second monitor to my desktop, I found that I have only one HDMI port on the graphics card output. One option was to go with an HDMI splitter. However I saw other video out options that were unused - including a display port. Decided to give those a try. This cable that goes into the display port on the computer and the other side goes into a regular HDMI input for the monitor was the perfect solution. My monitor came with only an HDMI input. The length is good, the flexibility is right, the build quality is pretty good, connectors are well made. Works perfectly as desired.

1st one Worked for 5 Mins, Replaced works fine
Needed a new DisplayPort to HDMI, ordered this and installed, got about 5 mins of it working fine then dropped out and wont come back, had to put back in the old cable. Capshi contacted and replaced the cable (without the hassle of returning the bad one), new one works great, nice clean image at 4K with no blurring you get with the cheap cables / adaptors. Would have Minused a star for the bad original cable, but saving the hassle of returning the bad one got it back.

Not as advertised. Works in Linux not Windows.
Well All I can say is this. I expected more with all the positive reviews. It arrived today and I was glad. My PC only has DP outputs so I was having to use a dongle with my HDMI cable. If it came unplugged at any time, it was a pain to get the display to recognize it. So I ordered this cable in 6' same as my HDMI.Well I was working when it came in and I spend most of my working time in Linux (I use Debian based MX Linux). And I figured I was at a stopping point so I went ahead and immediately opened the package and started plugging it in. Was a little slick and difficult to plug in due to the awkward position of my ports on my monitor. But I finally got it in and easily plugged in the DP to my computer. Screen came on and it was clear and crisp as I expected. So I finished the next 5 hours with no issues. Then came disappointment. When I was done, and after dinner I went back to my machine. I rebooted from Linux into Windows and that is where the issue was. I couldn't make out the screen. It had color bands all through the screen and reading anything was out of the question. I have keyboard shortcuts for Powershell and I restarted the machine back into Linux. All was good but back to windows it was so bad I had to reattach my HDMI just to write a review.I know it has something to do with Windows 10 and the way it recognizes the connection but alas I am a Linux user first and foremost and research did nothing to help figure it out. If I cant play my few games with it in Windows, there is no point in keeping it.

If connecting to an HP zBook dock, make sure the dock has the latest firmware installed.
At first I thought these cables were not working. Then I did a little research and discovered that if my HP dock does not have the latest firmware installed, its display ports are not well behaved. A quick update and these cables are driving two ASUS PB278Q (3K or WQHD) monitors stabiliy and with no artifacts at full 2560x1440 resolution. Good stuff.

Not as advertised. Not for 4k or hdr
I'm using this cable for a gaming pc. I had a 1920x1080p TV. No problems what so ever. Soooo, I upgraded to a 4k uhd tv. About a few days later i started to see green lines sometimes green flash. Then games would crash. I thought it was my cpu cause I replaced graphic card for another one. Still the same issue. Now I'm using a different pc just to rma cpu and motherboard. Sooo, I said maybe I can fit my vega 64 card in this little hp machine. Had to do some modifications to the case but now fits!!Soo after 15 mins I started to see those green lines and green flashes. I said there is no way it's the graphic card cause it did it with my other graphic card. I read around on the net and someone said to try a different cable cause not all cables support specific features. Soo the cable capshi says its 4k uhd. Switched over cable from dp to hdmi and the problem went away. I'm now able to use hdr from windows settings. With DP cable it would not let me use hdr at all. So I do not suggest buying this cable for anything above 1920x1080p. Hdr will not work either even with that resolution.

this is NOT an active cable
be advised this is not an active cable, but a passive one. check to see if this will work on computer and monitor before buying. i did not see this info in the description. trying to use a dell 1080p monitor with my imac pro through a display port connection on one of my raid drives. no dice.
