Steam Cleaner White

This is so easy to use and saves loads of time. Only wish I'd had one years ago. Not expensive all round is of good quality and well made. Steam production is very good and cleans really well, and is the size of a kettle.

My main complaint with this product is that all the attachments have much wider outlets than the one on the steamer. This means that the pressure is reduced and therefore the effectiveness of the cleaning is reduced. This is a shame as without attachments it does a good job, but access to difficult places is limited and you must be careful not to tip it too much. It is my opinion that the safety warnings in the instructions are not sufficiently highlighted, so these really do need to be read carefully. There is also no warning that if using the flexible extension then the hose part of that extension should not be touched as it gets very hot. I know this to my cost from using a previous steamer. It is also worth repeating here that the stopper will not undo when the steamer is still hot. It is a good safety feature but is not mentioned in the instructions at all and I only knew about it from reading another review. This cooling period is about 20 minutes or more, which is frustrating. You need to remain aware when the steamer is in use that the light goes on and off and when it is on the water is being heated, and using it then will mean a reduced pressure. Overall you get about 10 minutes of steaming but it is a very stop-go operation. Where it really does come into its own is for windows. I had no intention of using it for that, but had some steam left and a mucky patio door so gave it a try. It really did a very good job, but put a towel down to catch the water that collects on the floor or windowsill.

It works ok only downside is doesn't hold much water

Absolutely useless! Didn’t even get to use this - the top turn knob doesn’t fit right so the steam doesn’t build up ever. Very frustrating as I can’t get to the post office to return for a refund due to shielding .

It's my first steam cleaner, so nothing to compare with ( go compare ) initial issue no water level indicator, which I thought was a little odd. Secondly power light is low down on one side, so if your left-handed like myself you can't see it, I think it should be on top of steamer or thereabouts. Thirdly but not lastly, seems to conk out after about 5 minutes, so it's a stop start stop carry on ... start again . Fourthly and hopefully lastly when you want to replenish, the safety cap won't let you ..... until it cools down. Apart from all that it does a fairly good job at cleansing.

Great little steamer !

I previously had a much larger steam cleaner from a well-known brand and bought this as a replacement. This does everything the previous one did, but is much more convenient and much better value for money. It uses less storage space, heats up much faster, and is easier to empty after use for storage. It is also much more compact in use so really cannot fault it. The only usability surprise was that I assumed, incorrectly, that as it was shaped like my kettle, that it would have a kettle-lead which could be pulled out so I could use it cordless. However, the lead is permanently wired in and it cannot be used cordless. It does have a good length of cable though, about 10 feet.
