I have 2 small Chihuahuas. One is 4 pounds and the other weighs 8 pounds. Even the small one overhangs the scale platform, making it impossible to accurately weigh him. On the last attempt, he jumped off the scale, which was on the kitchen counter so it could be read, and crash-landed headfirst on the tile floor. This scale might be adequate for weighing hamsters or gerbils but it will not work for cats or dogs or any other animal over 1 or 2 pounds in size.

There is not way this scale can be used to weigh a baby or pet. One side of the package advertised it as a kitchen scale, while the other side of the orange advertised as a pet scale. 3 stars because it is still an effective scale but it is quite difficult to weight my cats using this which is the whole reason I bought it.

I love that we can pick kg or lbs. Very sturdy and accurate. We bought it to weigh our foster kittens and it is just the right size.

Works awesome for weighing our puppies! Just make sure you use it on a hard surface.

Was sent a TINY scale. Baby can’t even fit on it. It’s a kitchen scale, not for humans or pets.

DO NOT BUY, PIECE OF C***... This truly is false advertising, they show a pic of a scale holding a baby and I have a 4 lb. Maltese puppy that won't fit without hanging over, very flimsy.. I'm totally disgusted how they mislead the consumer, it's actually smaller than it looks in this pic and Amazon uses a pic holding a baby, what a joke.. May be able to use for a gerbil, not even sure about that plus the numbers just keep flashing, they don't stop to get an accurate weight.. They actually don't deserve 1 star
