Short Ram Air Intake Kit + Filter Combo Compatible For 07-13 MDX 3.7L / 07-13 Honda Odyssey 3.5L / 09-13 Honda Pilot/Ridgeline 3.5L (Black)

Pretty leit for how cheap it is. Installed and seated nicely on a 2012 Honda Pilot. Its a little flimsy with the given hardware, but it gets the job done if you install it right. Roughly 4 months of using it and it hasnt broken, rusted, anything of the sort. Adds a nice sound, a little bit of a power boost (not really noticable), and looks nice. A little cheesy on my pilot, but who cares. Its hard to hear over the exhaust in the video, however reading through the live data at the MAF and IAT sensors, airflow has increased and the air temp has decreased, so im happy with it.

Acceleration is way better pedal feels little bit stiffer now sounds great too in my honda pilot when vtec engages and if your just driving around normally saves gas aswell highly recommend swapping out the hoses that comes with it for a thicker one after a few weeks hose started to collapse not a good thing but other than that great upgrade

If you are getting this part for Acura 3.7 engine, (TL and MDX) have in mind that the 2.5" to 3" will not fit your throttle body. You will need to buy a 3" to 3" or 3" to 3.5" silicone coupler and remove the provided plastic connector to the vent and use a portion of the provided hose to make the connection to the stock metal pipes. I have not figured out how to support it, the provided hardware did not fit anywhere, but seems like the silicone couplers hold the weight pretty well. Once you solve the fitting issues you have a good looking short ram intake and a very impressive sound when you rev your engine for less than $60.

Let me start saying the system works if you know what you do. Pros: Easy to install and the filter works as intended. Cons: The fitment is not good. I had to work it out to make the rubber boot to fit in. The metal tube was bent and had to press it to bring it back to its circular form. The Mass sensor spot wasn't finished and I to rectify it with a drill and the screws were different to the originals (one hole was bigger than the other, 2 different screws sizes). The clamp was not a strong one, had to be very careful not to stripped it. Overall, if you are a do it your self handyman and like challenging projects, and save some money in the process, this is for you. If you are more of Easy put on and not much of hands-on experience, this isn't for you.

It looks really good, and does what it should.

Packing was horrible Hose clamps bent/parts missing Colors of hoses do not match never again

The fact that it whistles all the time and is noisy.....not what I wanted that is for sure

Cool product and worth the money. Don’t expect a high end cold air intake but I currently don’t have any complaints. Doesn’t set off any codes and fit together nicely with all parts in the package.

You get what you pay for the aluminum pieces are good. But the filter and couplers are not end cap separated on filter with a slight tug while removing plastic. And couplers are not silicone. Will crack after a few heat cycles.
