I read all reviews before ordering this product and was thinking to myself there is a lot of people who did not like this product maybe I shouldn't order it but because I am on a budget I ordered it and could not believe how good the quality this thing is made great Simple and easy to install I ordered it not for the looks and not for the show off I ordered it because I needed to change the placement of my air filter It was easy to do easy to install and works great and I love the price Kudos to Amazon for the price and the quick shipping they've never let me down yet

This intake fit my 5.3 Silverado RCSB perfectly and if you follow the install method it gets a ton of air to the filter. After logging the IATs for a while I can attest that this is a cold air intake, not an intake that pulls hot engine air. Ambient temp air all day long just like a stock airbox only this system gets much more airflow. Haven’t dyno’d this particular intake but I would bet money it picks up at least 5-10whp/wtq over a stock airbox. It was even better after I adjusted the tune as well.

The product for the price is awesome! Works great sounds good throttle response is there. That being said after installing this I started getting lean codes in both banks only when towing no issues at idle only under load. I thought I had a semi bad Intake gasket so I bought a smoke machine low and behold the band clamps that I tightened had loosened (i know I tightened them) so I snugged them a little bit more and noticed they started destroying themselves, I’m a plumber and have a good idea of how tight a normal quality band clamp takes to strip it, these weren’t even close to where they should be. So I took some clamps off some plumbing ferncos and done smoke leaks stopped and haven’t had an issue since. Save the head ache get some good quality clamps so you don’t have issues! In order to make the MAF sensor for on the next CAI piping I also used a fernco to make up the excess difference, worked great thankfully have many of them kicking around .

you can really tell this is of inferior quality. took some haggling to get it in. the air filter fit very snug. would be better if the air filter was a few inches shorter. but it did the job for a 15yr old Yukon.

Can’t be the quality for that price and fits really good in a Camaro with a ls3

Not a bad cheap cold air intake. Pretty simple to install. Takes a little haggling to make it fit and rubber seal strips around top of box are well cheap n no way sealing box..Make sure to oil filter before using. Fit is ok. Idk if it really helps gas mileage or adds power but it looks cool... As for sound i already have flowmaster 40 dual exhaust so i cant really tell a difference in intake air sound. The boot going into mass airflow senser fits extremely loose and you really gotta tighten clamp down tight...

Definitely made my truck more responsive, and sounds great as well. As others have complained about no directions, I got them but they made no sense. After a lot of messing around figured out that you have to use the boot from the factory air box and MAF sensor. The other is that it was a bit to long and had a hard time getting the airplane into place. No big deal really just patients. I would definitely recommend!

Encaja bien a excepción de el tornillo de el tubo de resto bien. Suena bien y se siente mejoría en el rendimiento de combustible y potencia. 2002 Gmc sierra 6.0

Works good had to tweak the intake box brackets slightly.
