Fence wasn't flat. Bad product and customer support is horrible.

laguna 8" fence for better resaws
I Just started using the Laguna 8" high resaw fence. Best attributes, solid aluminum frame, narrow 2 3/4" footprint allowing larger initial resaws and fits Laguna driftmaster fence system which is paired with the Laguna 3/4" Resaw King Blade. This combination creates smoother resaws and veneers. Depending on the wood species, how sharp your blade is and having your bandsaw finely tuned, I went from substandard results to excellent results and equally important less time sanding planing or scraping. You still have to use a hand scraper. If you have a good bandsaw and have lots of re-sawing in front of you you should consider the Laguna drift master fence system with the 8 inch fence and the Laguna resawing blade, for me it's changed my woodworking experience and allows me to spend more time creating and less time on prep and finishing aspects.
