4.5 - Enough quantity. Definitely increases drainage. Can confirm. Improves the potting mixture for house plants. The particle size isn't uniform. Approximately 20-30% are very fine particles. Not sure if such variation is a good thing or not. Mild respiratory hazard for the fine stuff; use in a ventilated area. 5/5 if the particle size is consistent.

Let your plants breathe.
The perlite when mixed with my cocopeat and bark chips formed an excellent loamy texture to the soil which is a great soil mix for plants like jade and anthuriums.
