It's beautifully made, novel size, ease of opening is great, the weight is good. I feel safer knowing I got a safe in plain sight.

I read all the reviews and was convinced this was what I wanted. I received the shipment today and was very please with the looks of the book. But the quality control must have gone out the window or been used up on the products given for reduced or free promotion. When I tried to set the combination lock there was no way the little lever would move from A to B. The instructions said it should have been on B when shipped but mine was on A. One reviewer said the instructions were reversed so I tried to follow the directions given in the review NO LUCK. Regardless of what I tried the lever wouldn't move. When I tried to move the dials on the combination it was extremely difficult to rotate them. Hope this was just a defective unit but it is on the way back to Amazon. Unfortunately this whole process has been a pain. Not sure if I should try to order another or just try something else. Will have to sleep on it. Maybe the company will offer one of those high quality ones for free if I write a good review. Sorry I really hoped it would be as good as the reviews. After several emails I now believe this company is really interested in marketing a quality product. They contacted me and went thyroid a lot of trouble to make sure I got a free replacement. This one reinforced all of the positive reviews and proves Ohuhu's customer service is 'TOPS'!! Thank you

I got this for my 8 yr. old. I was looking for an upgrade from the piggy bank. Its great for paper money or other precious items you want to keep secure from your siblings. The inner door is heavy sturdy metal. It was easy to set the code the first time with the included directions. I suggest only setting it once because when I tried to change it to a different code and I could not do it and the lock would no longer work. The customer service was amazing and they sent me a replacement book safe right away. So even though the directions say that you can set a new three digit number code after the initial selection, I don't recommend it. Just pick one. Its a cool way for kids/teens to keep and hide their important stuff.

Customer service is questionable. If you’ve set a code you don’t remember, they tell you to contact them just so they could tell you that they can’t help. Upon following the guide given, the code wouldn’t set correctly. Waste of 17 bucks then! Edit: I received a refund shortly after typing this.

It works perfectly

It is so very realistic looking! So much so that I purchased it for my child for use while in his dorm without his knowledge and upon handing it to him, he (looking perplexed) kindly reminded me that he already has a “dictionary.” I couldn’t wait for him to open it and to his surprise, he was shocked and pleased at the same time! The product is very well designed and well made. Glad I came across this one!

I bought the Ohuhu Extra Large Diversion Secret Safe about two years ago, and it’s decent for storing non-expensive stuff like wires or random items. What’s Good: Great for hiding inexpensive items where you don't need top-tier security. It’s large enough to store a variety of small things. Works as a diversion safe—it looks like a regular book, so it's discreet. The Issue: Not secure enough for valuables—definitely wouldn’t trust it with money or jewelry. I forgot the combination after a while, but if you listen closely, you can hear a click when you hit the right number. Final Verdict: Okay for Random Items It works for what it is—just don’t store valuables in it. If you need something cheap for random stuff, it gets the job done, but for anything valuable, I’d recommend something more secure. ⭐ 3/5 Stars – Good for Small Items, Not for Valuables ⭐
