Hi, does this get rid of the Black Spot that the original bulb seems to omit ? Thanks

The Maglite 4D can be focused to get rid of the black spot by rotating the top of the torch (the reflector head) a little.

Will this bulb work on a 2D mag lite ?

It replaces a standard bulb. Made a big difference to mine I've had since early 1990's.
