Q: Please explain how this product is vegetarian if it contains rennet?

The description says that it's vegetarian rennet, and so the ingredients list should actually read 'microbial rennet'. There are a few moulds etc that produce the same effect either naturally or with manipulation, the most common coming from Rhizomucor miehei. Rennet basically just encourages the milk to coagulate, which is why there is only one sad 'natural ' source

Emmental Cheesies - Per 20g serving: calories 482 KJ/115 Kcal, protein 8.8g, carbs 0.0g, sugars 0.0g, fat 9.0g, saturates 6.0g, salt 0.4g. Cheddar Cheesies - Per 20g serving: calories 506 KJ/122 Kcal, protein 7.4g, carbs (trace), sugars (trace), fat 10.2g, saturates 6.4g, salt 0.5g. Gouda - Per 20g serving: calories 493 KJ/119 Kcal, protein 8.0g, carbs 0.0g, sugars 0.0g, fat 9.4g, saturates 6.6g, salt 0.6g.

Q: Are these similar to the US product moon cheese?

Yes, the products are similar in that they are both popped cheese, although we implement a lengthier process in making our Cheesies. They are dried out for a few days before baked, ensuring we have a great crunch and flavour.

Q: Why isn't the goats cheese in the variety mix?

Goat's Cheese is the latest addition to our range, and is only available in 20g packs. Unfortunately this means is not available for the variety pack. Thanks :)
