Worked perfect for my 85 & 90 Yota P/U
I thought my truck's trans were toast, but this little bushing saved the day! Now shifts with ease!

Exactly the part that I needed. Price was perfect! Arrived relatively quickly and saved me a ton of money by not getting ripped of by purchasing from local dealership for part and labor. This part fit perfect in my 2005 (2nd Gen) Tacoma, 6-speed manual.A very easy job to do. Takes only about 5-10 minutes if you're relatively handy. Will take little longer if you want to go slow, if it's your first time attempting, but overall a simple job. Youtube videos are also helpful.I plan on ordering another one, just to have a backup in case I ever need again.

Works
Not a genuine Toyota part. Arrived in a stapled bag with a white label. Have purchased item from Toyota dealer before. The actual Toyota part has a flesh tone color on the pads the ball rides on. These are colored green like the Dorman parts. Does it make a difference? No! Off brand or OEM they last about the same. They usually last about 4-5 years. I would change it out every 4 years. You don’t notice it but shift quality starts going down after about 5 years. It appears to be an age related issue than mileage. Will by them again. Would recommend having a spare one . Always craps out on the weekend. Over all quality of the part is good.

Fits and Works Perfect
Fit perfectly. Had an issue with my 95 tacoma popping out of gear. This completely solved it. Shifts like new.I'd suggest getting a shift lever bushing AND an inner shift lever boot while you're replacing this.A little tip; if the old crumbled rubber falls into the transmission, place the end of vacuum hose in a narrow, long funnel (one that would hypothetically fit in a dipstick tube) and use that to vacuum out the little bits.

It works - but not a Toyota part
It seems to work fine but it is not an original Toyota part. Homemade label on it says "Genuine Toyota Part" but that is not how the real ones from Toyota show up.

Just what the truck needed.
Worked Perfectly. It can be kind of a PITA, getting the shifter out, but once you do it's easy to finish the process. Glad I took the time to do the work myself, and not get a mechanic to do it. Youtube is great, and a haynes manual is priceless. Only need basic tools to get this job done. I used Needle nose pliers and a shop rag to add some friction to get the shifter out. As you can see from the picture, my seat was worn out from a 92 toyota pickup. Stays in gear easily now.
