Good when it works
I purchased 2 vests for my children. One works just fine for snorkeling, but we found a leak in the other one due to poor workmanship. It's past the return window so I'm hoping to get a replacement for a defective one.Update: I contacted the seller and they were able to provide a replacement with no additional charges. They responded within 1-2 days and I had the replacement within a week. Thank you for your great customer service.

It does it's porpoise
It was just ad advertised. I don't give it 5☆because it was uncomfortable, the design is not ergonomic at all, so I couldn't have my face out of the vest .

Snorkeling? Little tykes in the pool...
. . . or you can tread water but poorly?Works. As per what they call it, implies.I kept these anyway in case the above conditions imply, though I never use them.NON USCG certified and probably as effective, it won't prevent a warning or ticket if you're on a public waterway, especially shared by power boats.I have eaten this purchase as the cost of an education. So if you're intention is inexpensive PFD compliance, don't get these.Up shot, if you need it fast and u car about not drowning more than compliance, these will probably suffice. The quality of material, design, and careful examination of the seam welding lead me to believe. So if you're wanting these for snorkeling, these are a good deal. For 1* or 2* paddle craft fishing outings I'd feel safer with this vest than the class 2 PFDs I ended up buying afterwards.* But because my PFDs are off and on, always in my car or out in varied conditions encountered during kayak fishing (rubbed against tree branches, occasionally punctured by barbed hooks, etc) I am safer with my more costly, better looking, USCG certified PFDs plus legal.Summary:Great for what it's made for.Unacceptable as a watercraft PFD.

Lightweight, compact and bright
Nice product that does what it's supposed to do (keep you from sinking). Very easy to inflate (even while in the water) but I found it a little more challenging to de-flate. No matter how much I roll and squish, I can't seem to get all of the air out so it won't pack flat. I tried holding the mouthpiece open and squeezing out the remaining air but it's awkward and I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be so challenging. Maybe I need to read the instructions again. If it turns out to be user error, I'll update my review.
