I purchased this to keep our at-home recycling. I love it. It is a great size, as I don't want to have too much recycling build up in my garage. This container is very sturdy, and the price was reasonable.

I just needed an inexpensive recycle bin in my laundry room instead of paper bags, this item was very reasonably priced, and I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it is. The quality of the plastic seems high, it has thick walls and is very smooth so I predict it will be easy to keep clean. One of the wide sides has the big recycle graphic and the other side is blank. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Unlike the recycling bins issued for free to Philadelphia residents, this bin has stood the test of time since it was purchased in 2021. In 2024 the bin shows no sign of cracks or breakage. I’m considering the purchase of the 18 gallon bin and using the 14 gallon as storage for items in my garage.

This bin is made of heavy duty, but somewhat flexible, thick rubber material, that holds up much better than the rigid plastic, which breaks easily. If it had drainage holes, I would have given it a full 5 star rating. You, of course, can just drill the holes yourself, but I would have preferred it came with them--or at least offer the choice. Other than that, excellent quality that will hold up to any kind of abuse inflicted on it by collectors, who do tend to throw them around.

This was better than I'd hoped it would be. It's a good, big, solidly-made bin -- Rubbermaid is always good quality -- that holds a whole lot of recycling, probably more than I should allow to build up. It's comfortable to carry when I'm schlepping all that recycling out to the bins in the alley, and in the unlikely event that it gets dirty, a quick rinse puts it right. I'm actually sort of pleased that there are no drainage holes in these bins because they sit under a shelf on my sun porch, on carpet squares, and I couldn't use them if I thought they'd leak. YMMV on this one, but I honestly think that if you need holes, drilling them wouldn't be a huge problem. They're made from recycled materials, and made in the USA, so you can feel very good about using them. The more so because I think they're a bargain. I bought two because we separate out metal to give to scavengers. I may get at least one for the basement this summer. Love these things.

Fits perfectly on my recyle cart. I had the cart but needed to buy a bin for it and this worked perfectly

This is a well made, but still relatively lightweight container. It isn’t fully rigid and has some flexibility, which is just fine. The handles are well placed and easy to hold. It was larger than expected, which was a welcome surprise. As it is constructed from LDPE it could also be recycled itself! It comes with several holes on the lips of the container (on the sides and also on both handles). These holes might be used when stacking empty containers so that they can be tied together, not sure if it is large enough or strong enough to make a rope handle, someone creative could probably use the holes to fix it to a small hand truck. This wasn’t an issue for us, but as a note, there are no drainage holes at the base of the container.

Big and sturdy! Bought to replace my old kitchen recycling bin so I wouldn’t have to empty as often. Holds a lot without being too heavy to lift when full.

These are excellent! They have more flexibility than the standard ones making them less resistant to cracking

My neighbors are quite a high-maintenance sort of people. They only strive to own and use the very best of household goods. I knew I had purchased a quality recycling bin when my neighbors decided to acquire my bin on recycling day, hiding it away in their house, never to be seen again. Would definitely recommend.
