Rewriting This Review
when I first got this product I thought it was a fake since it was too soft and felt just like polyester. The manufacturer quickly responded and I was kind of impressed by their speedy response to customers complain. I did further investigation and I have done close examination on the fur and saw irregularities which is good. I saw few spots with curly furs. If this was polyester it wouldn’t have this irregularities. Then I checked the back and the leather seemed real and there seems nothing between the leather and fur. If this was man made faux fur I expect fabric. This one had none. I’m convinced that this is real sheepskin and I apologize to this manufacturer and rewriting this review. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants real sheepskin wheelcover. Thanks Baqa!

Insanely soft! 10/10
Update at the bottom!!I‘m in love! Incredibly soft, easy to install, and super comfy. 10/10. I had no shedding out of the package, no rips or tears. Very stretchy, grips well with no sliding. Fit the small steering wheel on my 13 Beetle perfectly. Would absolutely recommend.Update:Still an amazing steering wheel cover! Just as soft, still no shedding. Where I use my knee (bad I know) feels like sheep wool because it‘s been squished a lot but there‘s been no change in the rest of the material! Would absolutely recommend

Pretty, feels nice, BUT too tight for my 14" steering wheel.
I have used sheepskin covers for my vehicles since the 80's (I live in the desert, there is NO better protection from a burning hot steering wheel- or from a cold one in winter). This one caused me disappointment. It is a plush, nice-feeling sheepskin leather cover with wool still attached; for my Saturn wagon with 14" steering wheel, this cover should have been easy to install- NO WAY would it fit on a 15" wheel! I couldn't get this on by myself & had to have my hubby do it. He said it's so tight, if it gets slightly twisted while turning the wheel, it'll sling right off like a rubber band. Also, having the elastic so tight, the desert heat (112° today, you can add about 50° more for car's closed interior) will dry out & ruin the elastic.Sorry to say, but I won't buy this brand again; of the many I've used in the past (more than one each, in a Dodge Dart, Chevy Vega, Chrysler, Lincoln Town Car, Chevy van, Hyundai Elantra, Saturn & now Mountaineer!) I never had one too small to fit the wheel of a small car.

Exactly as described... great on cold, winter mornings
I wanted to get this because the touchscreen in my car doesn't respond when I'm wearing gloves (even "touch" gloves for screens). With this cover, I don't feel the worst of the icy cold steering wheel. The color is good and consistent. And it's extremely tight on my wheel, so there is absolutely no slipping. To say this is soft and comfortable is an understatement. It's glorious.I do find I have to take a slightly stronger grip on the wheel now... I only know this because I feel an ever-so-slight twinge in the muscles between my thumb and palm. It's not a big deal, but I mention it because in reading other reviews, I guess a lot of people get these fluffy covers because of arthritis in the hands. I imagine this change in grip would be the same for any of these covers, though.Last thought... I don't know if my car's wheel is unusually wide, but this cover only wraps around about 60-70% of the circumference, and as mentioned before, it's VERY tight. So, some of what I'm gripping is the serged trim and I still feel part of the (cold) wheel depending on hand position. But that's far outweighed by the pros.

Sun dyed blue
Edit: December 2021 (1 year, 9 months): After rotating the cover 180deg on my wheel, the other side turned blue as in the picture. I got my Windows all tinted and now feel confident it won’t further deteriorate. I would purchase again now, because it wouldn’t get bad with my Windows tintedAs of August 2020 (5 months): I’m in the sunbelt and this cover has lasted about half of summer before having half of it turn from black to blue. It’s fairly noticeable in the shade and very noticeable in the sun.Everything besides that is perfect, it just is lame that it’s half blue now.. probably wouldn’t have purchased if I would have known.

If you are looking for real softness, this is the steering wheel cover to get!!
This steering wheel cover could not get any softer!! If u are looking for real softness, this is the cover to get! It is nothing like anything I have ever had before. It must be the real stuff...ya know real hair/fur. It arrived extremely fast, was packaged very well and was in perfect condition when I opened it. I ordered the "cream" colored one. I can't recall what they call the color but that's the one I got. It matches the outside color of my car...and it is beautiful! I get tons of compliments on it! Then I have them touch it and they are in love. It was also the easiest cover to put on! Usually I need to get my husband to do that for me....but NOT this time!Edit: I initially wrote the below information but then realized that I was thinking about a different steering wheel cover! So ignore the below info. This steering wheel cover is the bomb!!The only thing that would be great...would be if, some how, the stitching areas could be a little softer or smoother. When I'm holding the wheel and I grasp on to those sections, it doesn't feel so great. It's like hard and itchy almost. However, I'm aware that I might be asking for a little too much...considering the fact that it is, most likely, the softest steering wheel cover in the world!

Great for arthritic hands
Easy to get on (even for me!), makes the steering wheel more comfortable to hold and shields your hands from cold or hot steering wheel. This is my second purchase. Now have one on our Cricket (small golf cart type thing) & on my car. Happy as a clam!

A good short term solution
It’s worth the price I guess. There are so many cheap and poorly made steering wheel covers on amazon you would probably do best buying one elsewhere. The material feels like it will not last long and the fuzzy stuff is already coming off

Too small; way too small
I bought this to replace my 8 year old Wooly Bully cover (the elastic is now useless)Pros: soft & fluffy, love the colourCons: needed to battle with it to get it on;once on I realised that it wasn't actually a cover, but rather just barely a Topper because at about an inch narrower than the Wooly, it only tops the steering wheel, useless if you want to skip the gloves while driving in the Canadian coldand after WEEKS of airing out it still smells like the plastics section of a dollar store

So Freakin Soft!!!
This is one of the best gifts I've ever bought for myself! It just seemed like my steering wheel held the cold forever, so I spotted this & it looked amazing. It is so soft, warm and is really good quality. The elastic around it is black too, so not noticeable at all. My kids say I over-pet it when stopped at lights, but I think it just helps calm & distract me from their bickering in the back seat ;)

Exactly what I..I mean wife wanted.
This is exceptionally soft and fits great. A bit tricky to put on the first time, worst case use 2 people. My wife's car didn't have a heated steering wheel so this was the next best option. She loves it so much that when she bought a new car 2 months later with a heated steering wheel (grrr) she still uses it quite a bit. It will be great for summer to keep the wheel cool until she buys a car with a chilled wheel. The heat and haptic feedback from lane assist is somewhat hindered but that's to be expected, not a flaw of the product.

Would not purchase again.
When I received the package and saw it came from China I knew it wasn't going to be good. I highly doubt this is genuine Australian sheep skin. I knit and crochet and know what real sheep skin looks and feels like. This stuff feels synthetic and when you put it on your steering wheel it is really slippery so hold on tight to your wheel. secondly it doesn't cover the steering wheel like the picture. It needs to be almost an inch wider on either side so your hands will touch the cold steering wheel anyway. Then there's the fact that because it's not real it doesn't keep your hands warm. I had a real sheep skin steering wheel once and it kept your hands warm. I don't consider this to be safe because of the slipperiness. I can't see myself keeping it on for long because it's just not what I thought it was and it's unsafe. I gave it one star because the sewing was absolutely amazing considering it came from China. I've gone through a few cheap steering wheel covers from China and the elastics always let go before the month is up. This one will definitely last as far as the sewing goes. I was uber impressed with that. If I get around to it I will post some photos.

Sooooo Sooooooft
I bought the black one for my PT Cruiser. Tight fit, but got it on there. Ordered another one for my mom's Nissan, 'cuz she's jealous now. I think her steering wheel is a smidge smaller, but will still fit, just maybe not as hard to get on. Anyway, I owned one already, similar, that I bought at a mall kiosk, and its warm in the winter, no burning steering wheel in the summer, and so nice to the touch. I remember when I got the first one it took a couple drives to get used to, 'cuz it needs just a lil bit more hand grip, which I got used to and don't notice anymore. Otherwise, arrived well packed, and on time.
