Works excellent in IKEA Expedit - big enough to fit two per cubby, not so tight that it's tough for a 4 year old to put into the shelf. Not super strong (some arrived cracked - it would be nice to know what glue to use to fix the cracks) but for our purposes it's not a big deal. Great for Legos and other lightweight toys. Not recommended for heavier toys like Matchbox/Hotwheels cars.The plastic is sort of slippery feeling, not like some of the tougher storage totes we have. The plastic is also thin, so not ideal for heavy things like metal cars. Play Doh is pushing it (in the picture we have some Play Doh in one bin). If the bins were just a bit stronger that would be ideal.I've searched for a while for a perfect Expedit fit bin. The Expedit opening isn't standard so it's tough to find something. This is the best I've found. We have two 2x4 Expedits, one 4x4 Expedit, and a desk that basically incorporates a 2x4 Expedit, so having a well fitting bin is great. We will order more in a bit, probably 16 for our big/main Expedit, another 8 for a 2x4 Expedit.

Bins are solidly built and the lids stay on because of the latches. I would recommend them to anyone. One bin received damaged and I was able to return it along with 5 others I did not need for a refund. Excellent customer service. Note: replacement totes also received damaged, was issued a refund.

After having to return one shipment due to a broken and chipped container, I love these Homz Plastic Storage Boxes. They can break or chip easily, especially if dropped. I have been using these particular containers for several years and as long as I get them undamaged, I have never damaged one. I have about 20 of these containers in this size but various colored handles. I also like the smaller Homz containers that are about half this size. It's too bad they are not as readily available in stores as they once were as on Amazon, i have to buy in packs of 8 to get them close to individual pricing I used to pay at stores here locally.Quality of these containers are pretty good but they are not super strong. These are more for medium duty though I use them for storing movies in paper sleeves and they hold up with daily use of moving and opening/closing. Do not drop these or you risk a high possibility of damaging these, especially if anything is in them.I have used them for years with no issues but make sure wherever you purchase these that you inspect for any cracks, chips or weaknesses that they may have. The locking lids are a great plus.I'd highly recommend them.

Love these HOMZ containers. I purchased the 15 qt size as they are just large enough to put office supplies, sweaters, shoes, important documents, ALL SORT OF THINGS in. And with this size, they are never too heavy to lift up, put on your lap or table to sort through. I find the larger containers become a burden due to their heavy weight (and my temptation to put too much in them!). The whole container is very durable and the latches work just great to keep the lid on securely. I had not heard of this brand until purchasing one container in a local store. Then wanted a bunch of them for storage! Happy keepsakes, Happy owner!

Terrible product and terrible company (Urus)! Recieved the box and all the totes and lids were completely smashed to bits because the bins were so thin. Okay it happens, so I return them and contact the seller for a replacement. Okay two weeks go by by the time my return goes out and I get the replacements. Which surprise surprise were also broken (but only 2 bins this time and a lid). So once again I contact the company. Whelp they cant replace any of them because now it is out of stock and I have to return a the bins (both broken and not broken) back to get a refund. After a month of trying to fight for a product I needed it was just not worth the headache and terrible quality!

I use these to store documents, books, clothing, food, electronic devices, tools, spools of wire, or practically anything. Compared to some other brands, these have nearly vertical sides which makes them more efficient for rectangular items such as books and papers. Because the sides are transparent (though not perfectly so), it is easy to see what is in them. I also like the handles, which close the bin easily but securely. The top remains securely in place when the bin is lifted.

I just got our second box of these, they are just the right size for fitting lots of things, clear so you can find your things, and they stack!

The blue latches fell off of every one of the eight containers ordered. The second hole for the blue piece to attach properly to the bin was not fully drilled out. The blue latch was just resting in the notch and fell out the minute you touched it. We drilled out one hole to see if we could make it work - not worth the trouble. It's a very loose latch even if installed correctly. We just taped the bins shut. Still a good value and perfect size. 4 bins fit on a five foot shelf.
