Heavy gauge, and yes it is all chrome on the “U”, with black “shadow on the edges/. Excellent quality. Some reviews talked about plastic—-not on this one, all metal. Arrived as expected on time.

Not half black, all chrome.
The actual product is completely chrome, it is not half black like the photo shows. While it is good quality, the photo is not representative of the product. I would have preferred a bi-tone emblem.

OK but not great
This emblem looks great brand new, unfortunately the material is pretty poor quality and the chrome side will corrode pretty quickly especially during winter months.
