Too sharp and hard to open. not good for expectant mother

Absolutely hate this product. It’s junk. God forbid you ever get into a car accident and your vehicle is on fire. You’d die struggling to get out of this thing. The carabiner is heavy duty and also very hard to open, the space you get is very small to try to slip the belt out to get out of the buckle. It has hurt my finger several times and being in the Texas heat trying to get out of it is frustrating.

I have had two incidents requiring a hard emergency stop since installing this and it works perfectly. It is hard to unclip, but in the moment the important thing is keeping baby safe. I made sure to call my insurance before is installing to ask if it voided any coverage.

Love this product! When I was 8 months pregnant with my first child we were rear ended by a truck in my car. Since then, I'm pregnant with our second and have been absolutely paranoid worrying about another accident. I've seen ads for these all over and finally found a price point I liked. I bought two: one for the drivers side and one for the passenger side because I won't always be the one driving places if we go somewhere as a family. It's a little hard to get the sealbelt out of the clip at first but with practice I now am pretty quick about it. The trick is to un-clip it from the pregnancy seatbelt before you unbuckle the car seatbelt. I would definitely recommend and definitely will purchase again if I have too.

It will do the job, but for me it was more difficult to use than it was worth saving a few bucks on the competition. As my belly gets bigger, my ability to bend and reach between my legs to fight with the clasp became more and more difficult. I felt trapped. Purchased this about 2 months ago. It is very sturdy and durable. It pulls the seatbelt away from my lap/belly which relieves pressure and gives me peace of mind that if I'm in a car accident, the seatbelt won't cause harm to my unborn baby.It does take 2 hands to get in and out of. It uses a carabiner clip to secure your seatbelt. I'm not complaining, because it makes me feel safe, but wanted to let people know that it does take an extra few seconds to fasten and unfasten your seat belt.

Bought this particular product because I liked the idea of it and it was the cheapest. However, it is not user friendly. It is not easy to get the belt into and even harder to get it out. Spend the extra money and get a better one. I ended up having to anyway.

Works great. No problems with it, the clasp gets hot in the sun. But thats no fault of the seller:) purchased for me niece for her pregnancy..life saver!!
