Richard's bidet build
Bidet builds for plus-sized males. This solution solves several issues with bidets: 1) To quote another reviewer - "The need to reach under the toilet to turn off the water source to the bidet EVERY TIME that you use it. Failure to do so will cause the bidet's hardware to prematurely fail and FLOOD YOUR HOUSE--releasing the manufacturer from liability"; 2) The need to avoid just hand tightening critical plastic connections by substituting metal ones and really tightening them; 3) Hooking up a hot water line; 4) Cleaning the private parts of plus-sized males, and 5) Making the hand-held sprayer hose reach further.Observations: 1) The hand held sprayers that look like those on kitchen sinks don't easily get at big men's private parts; 2) You will also find it really hard to clean your butt with them; 3) The 4' hose seems too short; 4) They seem to be prone to leaking (i.e., 2 out of 3 of my purchases - valves and sprayer heads); 5) Otherwise the under the seat model I chose seems really exceptionally nice. E.g., Not only feels really good, saves toilet paper big time, and reduced my septic clean-outs from once a year to once every several years ($$$).Use plumber's tape (aka. Teflon tape) on all threaded connections.Jumbl BI-003 Self Cleaning Hot and Cold Water Bidet - Dual Nozzle (Male & Female) - Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Attachmenthttp://www.amazon.com/Jumbl-BI-003-Cleaning-Water-Bidet/dp/B00AP6VOYU(After reading various reviews, you might also want to look at:Luxe Bidet Neo 320 - Self Cleaning Dual Nozzle - Hot and Cold Water Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Attachment.http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A0RX2UI)Get hot water from lower level to the Jumbl Bidet:Watts K-15 Copper Icemaker Kit, 15-Feethttp://www.amazon.com/Watts-K-15-Copper-Icemaker-15-Feet/dp/B000Y4BZ245/16 in. Works great and helps tamper-proof your bidet from young kids
I needed something that allowed me to turn off the water to a bidet while my young nieces and nephews were visiting, but without turning off the water to the toilet. This adapter fit perfectly and was easy to install with no leaks.

Doesn't leak!
So I got two bidets and the t-adapters I had started to leak...the metal on metal just didn't last long, so I went in search for the plastic version of it...which was quite difficult to find for some reason. This is what I wanted, and it works. It was easy enough to install, and it's been weeks without any issues. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, and this is quality. I'd rather splurge a bit more on something that will save me $$$ in the long run.

As many other reviewers have said, if you have a Luxe Bidet then this is the T-Adapter you need.
As many other reviewers have said, if you have a Luxe Bidet then this is the T-Adapter you need. The first thing you will notice will receiving your adapter is how heavy and sturdy it feels. It really feels as the manufacturer used high quality materials. The only plastic is he white nut at the top but even that feels high quality. Installation is a breeze compared to the plastic adapter that comes with the Luxe. The only gripe I have with the adapter is the pressure knob is very sensitive and any amount of turn of the knob increases the pressure by more than you would think. Since the reason I'm even purchasing this was to help control the flow I had to knock off a star for the sensitivity.PROS:■ High Quality Materials (Time will tell, but the adapter feels like it was made to last)■ Easy Installation■ Works As You Expect It■ Has Pressure KnobCONS:■ Pressure Knob is VERY Sensitive■ Very Long (For toilets in small bathrooms this may be a little tricky to install due to its length)

So far so good
Bought a Luxe bidet like the top reviewer. It seems silly to spend 70% of the bidet price on the T-adapter but after reading reviews about the bidet flooding people's homes/apartments, I'd rather spend $25 on a well-made plumbing part than thousands on flood repairs.Make sure you don't tighten the connection to the toilet tank too tight. If you are tightening the connection to the tank, and suddenly it gets easier to turn, you've tightened too much. Mine started to leak after that. Then I loosened it, and it's bone dry now. Just tighten by hand.Don't use plumbers tape on anything with a rubber gasket (the main connection from the adapter to the toilet tank, and at least for me, the connection from the wall's water supply to the adapter). The rubber gaskets will create a watertight seal like it says in the directions.Only use plumber's tape on the connections between the adapter and the bidet. I ended up not using tape on the bidet threads because it was giving me problems. So the only place I used tape was on the adapter threads for the bidet hose connection. My setup is completely dry now.So far I am happy with my purchase but I just installed it recently.UPDATE 2/27/2019 - Still going strong, never had a leak
