When I was looking for a book to read I came across Self-Made Success.  As I was reading the description of the book it made me realize that this book covers the whole picture.   So I trusted the process and what an amazing book this is!!!!Mr. Patel wrote a book that truly connects with the audience regardless of the level of success you have attained.  If you are looking for a place to start, this book lays down a simple path to start off and a framework to grow from.  His sharing in how to align your mindset for you to succeed will tremendously help you create faster results.   Also Mr. Patel does not hold back and shares how to make everyone fall in love with your business by giving the clients an experience as amazing as possible.  In todays fast pace business world, client experience is such an important factor.If you are a very successful person this book is also great.  This book is a reminder in how to continue creating the success that you have already created.  A successful business blueprint! When reading this book I found it very easy to dissect.  Mr. Patel wrote each chapter with 4 main lessons:1) Success Strategy2) Success Example3) Success Practice4) Success ReviewHis communication style allows the reader to truly connect with the message and take it to practice by following these 4 simple lessons in each chapter.This book is so enjoyable to read!  It really gives you the footprint of an all around success method.  I am sure that when Mr. Patel was writing this book he truly had in mind the success of others and that is what I call LEADERSHIP.    Reading this book will totally help you follow the steps to create amazing results, live life in a happy space and share your success with others.Mr. Patel I want you to know now that who you are and what you do really makes a difference in the world. I first decided to pick this book after some realizations that I could do some practical things to improve my life. In my case it was a wavering discipline that was beginning to set upon me.So I turned to “Self-Made Success.”What attracted me to this book was that the author had conquered some of the greatest obstacles in the academic and business arena. I think this is the book’s greatest value, the author has practiced what he preaches, inspiring you even further.And I was not disappointed. The book was written in a format that made the concepts easy to remember. It was entertaining and contained great, real world examples that illustrated the strategies in action.The day after finishing the book, I now had the techniques and the confidence to tackle the challenge that had been gnawing at me for months: waking up at 5am.After months of constant failure, today is my third day waking up early!

I first saw Shaan on Shark Tank, and later found a list of books he recommended. (You can find this list in his book as well). I read a lot of books on that list, and I enjoyed most of them! I think that our reading preference is similar, so I decided to buy his book as well!I was hoping to get a glimpse of behind the scene from his Shark Tank experience (which I got). And I was hoping that he would reflect on the books he read (many of which I read as well), which he did. 2/2 as far as my expectations were concerned.

I just finished reading this book a few days ago. I really enjoyed reading it. I started following Shaan's story after watching the Shark Tank episode. What really resonated with me and the reason why I bought the book is seeing Shaan juggle through being an entrepreneur, doctor-in-training and MBA student all at once. I feel there is a falsehood propagated in our society which says that a person can do only one task well. Of late, I had started to believe that as well. Thank you for shattering this myth. Hard work does conquer all.Some strategies felt obvious after reading them but I had never given it serious thought. For example, I hadn't realized that working as an engineer, I was trading my time for money. I need to think of generating passive income streams in the future. I think the biggest takeaways from this book for me were - Wealth strategies, Social success strategies and most of the Productivity Success strategies. Please continue writing.

I REALLY enjoyed reading this book. It's great life tricks all explained in an easy to understand format. All of these are paired with a personal story. I loved it and will be keeping this book close as a reference.

Great read, impossible to put down once it's picked up. Truly appreciate the author's tips and strategies on how to make changes in everyday habits to achieve success in all aspects of life. He uses great references and shares awesome stories to help understand the concepts. Personally, this book inspired me to continue reaching for the stars and motivated me to work twice as hard to achieve my goals. As a student, I would recommend this to other students and other individuals who aim to achieve success in their lives. The concepts discussed in this book, once applied, will instantly help bring positive energy all around your life.

You know a book is great when it can be compared to a dear friend: You have to say goodbye, but you know that your friend will always be in your mind and heart. That is how I felt at the end of this book! A superbly succinct read, with practically sound strategies. I loved and appreciated it!

This book is life changing! I've purchased over 50 books on Amazon and this is the first one I'm leaving a review for. Self-Made Success is just as good , maybe even better than classics like thing and grow rich as well as rich dad poor dad. The author wrote about anything and nothing, repeating himself and useless information. He wasted my time totally and I wouldn’t recommend reading this book to anyone
