This is a great ceiling fan. Easy to install and looks great. It is SUPER quiet. The only thing that could improve it is if the light was an LED mesh instead of a small wattage LED bulb. I highly recommend it even with this shortcoming. I have installed many fans and this is probably the VERY BEST written instructions I have ever seen. Simple and easy to follow even for a first time person hanging a fan.

Not only do these fans look great, they work great as well. No noise and very smooth when they're turned on to any of the 3 speeds. Very reasonable price. I bought 4 for the total re-model of my home.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great value this fan is for under $100. Installation was easy, I'm no handy-man and took me longer than other reviews mentioned but it was easy and straight forward. I also did not have to use any of the balance weights which was the biggest surprise of the fan. I was expecting some sort of wobble at this price point. Looks pretty good given this is under $100. I ordered the brushed nickel and chose to use the walnut colored side of the blades. The maple seems a little bit odd to me to pair with the brushed nickel. The light is good enough. I might buy a different light bulb than the one that came with it but that is more of a personal preference. I do appreciate that it came with a light bulb. The fan is what you would expect for a 52" fan. Airflow is adequate and the only slight downside is that it does emit a slight hum from the motor. No big deal for now since it's Day 1 but I can see how this might get worse as the fan ages. Overall I am highly satisfied given the price point.

Good quiet fan. Easy to install. The only bad thing is only 1 light socket makes the light very uneven and very dim. Upgraded to a 23 watt led which helped with a little more light.

It was easy to install, and works well in the hottest room in the house. Everything arrived securely packaged without scratches or damage. It hasn’t had any wobbling problems or noise. It’s very quiet even on the highest speed.

It seems this is one of the few affordable black coloured ceiling fans out there, and it's better looking up close than in pictures. Installation was simple and straightforward taking about 30 minutes from mounting to light globe install. No noticeable wobble so we didn't use the included balance weights. Many wobble conditions in ceiling fan installs is due to poor fixture receptacle mounting, IMHO. We'll see if, as in some other apparent cases, the light bulb annihilates itself, but I doubt it. The 8.5 watt 800 lumen bulb casts a good amount of light. Air flow is about what would be expected from this 52" ceiling hugger. It won't take a "pot"/dimmer for the light, hence the hum from the motor. All in all, a very nice fan particularly for the price.

Bought this to replace an old ceiling fan/light that finally conked out. Was going to have a handyman install as I have back/shoulder/wrist problems. But he wanted $100 to install! So... decided to tackle this myself (60+ woman). Well, it would've been easier with a helper, but after a lot of ingenuity, research online (ceiling wires did not match colored wires on fan), and balancing act on bed and ladder, I finally got it installed. Looks great and works fine! *Proud of my accomplishment!* Just remember to turn off breaker to the room before fiddling with any wires. Well worth it and saved 100 bucks!

Me encuentro muy satisfecho con la compra, para una habitación pequeña está muy bien, muy silencioso en la velocidad baja y media, en la alta hace muy poco ruido, nada que moleste.

After reading the many reviews on this ceiling fan and loving the look of this hugger I decided to make the purchase. I also wanted a fan with a light. Some of the reviews talk about wishing the light was brighter, but to me it's absolutely fine. You could always purchase a brighter one if you like. It's absolutely quiet, moves a lot of air and I love it. The only downside is that if you are assembling it by yourself then it can get tricky at times. It's not the easiest fan to install, but just take your time. Threading the screws to hold the light fixture were a bit of a pain. In closing I would definitely recommend this fan.
