This was a huge disappointment. Traveling in Europe for 2 weeks with my family I wanted convenient water bottles so we didn't have to spend a fortune on $5 bottles. Yes buying water in Europe is like buying water at any amusement park, ie $5/bottle. That adds up for a family of 4 for 2 weeks. I wanted to spend my money on wine, not water. Also, in Rome and Venice there are public water fountains all over with fresh water that comes from the Alps (yes that's true). These were collapsible and light so I thought it would be a good idea. Within a day my wife said she won't use the bottle as the water tasted like rubber. I thought it may be just the odd taste of water in another country, but the same water put into a glass or plastic water bottle tasted fine. Within a few days of the trip nobody wanted to use these rubber bottles so we ended up keeping 2 of the 4 as backups in case somebody really needed water, otherwise we just bought bottled water in plastic bottles, used them for 2-3 days, and then threw them out for sanitary reasons. Despite the way this product is advertised, it makes the water taste like your drinking from a Michelin tire!

First, I received a dirty water bottle. Maybe it was on a shelf at the factory and then they put it in the plastic bag. Did not wash off completely, even with the melamine sponge; but I imagine it will get dirty with regular use anyway.Second, it leaks at the seam at the opening. When I turn it upside down, it is a slow seeping leak. When I squish the bottle, it is a faster leak. Thank goodness I tested this before putting it in a bag with electronics!Third, this is mostly due to material, but this will not keep anything cold. It's silicone and it doesn't retain temperature at all. In fact, it would probably be a pretty good ice pack.The water did not taste off like another reviewer said, but you definitely get the silicone smell as you're sipping. I'm not sure if the smell will ever dissipate.Replacement leaked at both sides of the opening seam.Bummer.

I bought this specifically to use while traveling. Normally I use a Kleen Kanteen, but those are heavy and bulky to carry around. This silicone water bottle is great. It collapses easily and is very streamlined compared to others I have seen. You can empty it before going through security in airports and then refill it at the water fountain.

I purchased this water bottle because I loved the idea of a compact water bottle that I could easily clip to my bag when I'm out and about. Well, my teenage son stole it and now has it clipped to his own backpack. For the time I had it, I took photos (because look how cute!) I have a little clippy thing that I use to clip it to my backpack, and when I'm walking around, I unclip the water bottle and attach my reusable straw to the bottle and it was just perfect! My son loved it so much that he took it and now I have to buy myself another one. With that, the bottle is compact and convenient and a great idea for students!

My husband thought I was ridiculous for buying new bottles for the kids’ softball season instead of them using their hydroflasks that they use during the school year but these are great. They hold a good amount of water, lock up tight, won’t collapse while holding water and when they’re done they collapse them & attach to their sports bag. We never have to search for their bottles now and they can get beat up & not end up all bent & damaged like their hydroflasks. The only complaint my oldest had is that it doesn’t keep it cold like the hf but she’ll live.

Great when Hiking as I can drop the empty one in the backpack. Like another reviewer stated, had an off taste at first. I took them home (bought 2) and boiled them for 10 minutes. problem solved. something with heat must have leached out part of the petroleum release used in the forming of the bottle. so boiling them just forced out the rest. They are a little tricky to handle at first but just collapse it as you drink.

I bought this for a cup to keep in my diaper bag so I always have something to carry water in for the baby. I love that it’s collapsible. My husband and his friend both want one now! Highly recommend.

Love these. They worked amazing for my traveling. I filled one up halfway with water and put it in the freezer the night before to make it last even longer. It was hot in Madrid, and having these to use allowed me to have easy to carry water when I really needed it since I just clipped it onto my travel bag.
