Decent sound, great looks
This sound bar looks amazing and sounds good. The sound quality seems hit or miss depending on content, source, and format. I have an unfixable audio delay with some inputs which were not present in other systems.Pros:Looks amazingVery compactDecent soundCons:Scratchy midsAudio delaySubwoofer randomly disconnectsNo true equalizerIf your coming from a cheap audio system or TV speakers this is probably the choice for you in this price range. If your trying to upgrade from high end outdated soundbar or home theater you may be slightly dissapointed. As of now I am keeping this but may return if sub continues to cut out.Edit 1: (about 2 weeks later)Subwoofer has not been cutting out and the sound continues to grow on me. As of right now I feel the worst part of the sound bar is the movie mode sounds over processed so I keep it in music 90% of the time. There is also no delay when using PCM. It was Dolby and DTS causing the delay which is still frustrating but may not actually be sound bars fault.Final:Subwoofer continued to cut out intermittently. It was rare but present none the less. I’ve decided to return after listening to a competitors soundbar. It’s slightly more expensive but fills the mid range some and has less of a frequency gap between the bar and sub. That alone made for a much better listening experience. It also does sound processing and fake surround much better. If your on a strict 800 dollar budget I would buy this. Otherwise I would recommend the spending slightly more for a wider and more filled soundstage that the competition offers.

Impressive sound
Ok. So I've read several reviews here and other sites and was very hesitant about making this purchase, however, I am very glad that I did. I'm familiar with Definitive Technology so I didn't think it was that big of a risk.My intent was to replace a 5.1 Sony HTIB surround system in a master bedroom. This system did that plus some. Immediately I was hearing fidelity that I hadn't experienced with my Sony system. A very full sound with rumbling lows from the subwoofer. No audible separation in frequencies was noticeable. Trust me, IT'S LOUD & CLEAR even at low volumes.Setup was straight forward and easy to understand. My setup is basically a Sony TV, Amazon Firestick, & soundbar. Firestick connects directly to TV and the soundbar is connected via Optical to the TV. I even paired my Firestick remote with the soundbar so that I can control the volume and not have to rely on using two remotes.I'm writing this on my first day of ownership and I have not experienced the subwoofer dropping off or losing connectivity as previously reported. I was able to cast music directly from my phone to the soundbar with no issues there either. If you're considering this soundbar I'd say its a sure bet and you won't be disappointed unless you're used to 7.1 audio from a system built with separates and expecting a similar sound.I'll post any notable updates but for now I'm looking forward to enjoying my new soundbar. Thanks for reading!

Sounds good, value is lacking.
I bought this for its small form factor and its advertized capability to be expanded out by purchasing additional def-tech Bluetooth speakers(more on that in a min). The form factor is, as advertised, small. Which, for us, is perfect. The size ultimately leads to a sacrifice in sound; the mids and highs sound "tinny," Despite their claims, the unit is poor at separating dialog from background music and ambient sound. As a result, we watch with subtitles. When it comes to music, it's nothing more than a larger, louder, BlueTooth speaker. The sound is mediocre and if you are expecting any enhanced clarity or audiophile experience, check that expectation at the door. Mids and highs bleed into each other, and the lows will intermittently drop out (connection issues), and then their eventual reappearance can be jarring.Speaking of connection issues, after getting it set up, I realized they changed their OS with this unit and no other products in their line. In short, this soundbar doesn't communicate with any of their other products and has zero expandability.Overall, I do not recommend this soundbar unless you need to have the smallest possible full-size bar. The sound is easily on par with a $200-$300 range, full stop. The connectivity is not there at all. IMO, size up and get the Sonos or something on that level.

Surprising audio quality!
I picked this up in anticipation of setting up a system in my fifth wheel RV. Received box and was impressed with quality packaging. Set up in my office for test, streaming hi rez files via my Cambridge DacMagic Plus DAC. Unit will only accept up to 96kHz input (16 or 24 bit) but despite that limitation I'm quite impressed with both the audio quality and sound-stage. The sub integrates really well for an excellent overall sound stage. I'm anxious to try with a Blu-ray one set up in the RV. Excellent value...

Music sounds great on this bar!
For 500$ this soundbar is totally worth it. Sounds really good and balanced, good mids and highs from soundbar and great bass from the sub, again nothing is overpowered. The finish is awesome and its very slim as advertised, almost dissappears below my LG oled which really saves you the headache of having to wall mount the TV. Set up was a breeze though the home app on my android.

You wont find a better bar for music and movies for the price point.
The remote isn't the greatest but the audio quality is awesome

Best soundbar in it's price range.
Sound quality and presence far beyond it's dimensions. As great for music as for movies. 4 stars only as even at the sale price of $599 it should have at least offer DTS-X.

Eh, expensive
Over priced. I can hear things well but really this not worth the $$$.

Weak subwoofer
Owned the sound bar for months now. The Sound bar itself is “ok”. But the sub is garbage. Even I put my hand on the sub, I can hardly feel the bass is working on high volume. My Bose 2.1 connect to my computer, bass is amazing, my floor is rocking.Got issues with the built in Bluetooth after using for one month. No customer support at all, never gets a reply by email. If cost $900-$1000 for this? No! No! No! For me.
