I was very surprised at the quality of this dress for the price. It is well made, with a concealed side zip. The material, spandex and polyester, feels like a slubby linen and the colour suits me beautifully. I chose a mossy green which looks really good against my tanned skin and white and blonde hair. The shape hides a multitude of sins and the unusual hem sets off the whole dress well. It's the kind of dress that can be dressed up with high heeled sandals and simple gold jewellery or down with flat sandals and a sun hat for the beach or shopping. Very, very pleased. Thank you. Lovely dress, could be worn dressed up or casual. Hand wash only though so be aware. I am a size 16 and got the XL (18/20) and it fits perfectly so definitely go up a size and you won't be disappointed.

The material of this dress was not as expected, and the design had just been tacked to the front, the picture would suggest that the design at the front of the dress would be part of the material however this is not so, it is so much like a plastic tablecloth that I once had and has been loosely stitched to the dress. I would be surprised if it survives the washing machine. Having waited so long to receive this item, this is the first time that I have ever been disappointed with something purchased from Amazon.

After reading the reviews, I went ahead and ordered the blue dress. It arrived very quickly, packaged well, and was exactly like the picture. The material is light weight, perfect for a summer day and the length is just around my knee, great length for a not so young woman like me. My problem is the bust area is very tight. My boobs were squashed and uncomfortable although the rest of the dress was the perfect fit. I ordered x large as I would normally wear a size 18, and the dress, apart from the bust, was perfect. My chest size would be 38c, not that big really. I’m in two mind as to wether to keep the dress and alter it myself or return, as there are no other sizes to fit.
