Treasure of the Gold Dragon: A Branches Book (Dragon Masters #12) Kindle Edition

I HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone who has a dyslexic child struggling with reading chapter books. Scholastic makes several series and stand alone books that are part of a line called the Branches Series. These books have good word selection, larger font, more pictures and truly help those who struggle to get going. It helped us so much that this is the first set of books I ever found my daughter picking up to read on her own. I would even find her sneaking to read it at night. Thank you Scholastic for this series!

The Dragon Masters series is my daughters absolute favorite. Every book has a new adventure with a new dragon and dragon master. Treasure of the Gold Dragon is full of fun and exciteMeant for the reader. I would highly recommend this book and the entire series for readers from Kindergarten to third grade, depending on reading ability.

My kids are totally hooked on this series, and will be devastated when it ends (as all good things do). This is a truly age appropriate series and is easy enough for them to read alone, while not being so long as to be daunting.

My son loves to read these books and he enjoys the illustrations in it. We have the entire collection. They are easy to read and are perfect for young readers looking for adventure.

These books are so enjoyable for my son he is 6. My husband even stops what he is doing to listen to the stories we have loved every book in this series.

My first grader is obsessed with these books. He is always begging me to read him “just one more chapter.” I appreciate that the plot is simple, fast, and easy to understand and remember. The illustrations on each page are also very fun and helps to engage my son - highly recommend!

My child has been reading this series since book #1. It was a little short but overall liked it. The fact that the gold dragon shape shifted was cool. Looking forward to the next book.

My daughter loves these books and can not put them down. Here reading gets better with each one too. Well worth the $5 to see her enjoy a book instead of watching tv. She is only 6.

We needed a good "first chapter" series with lots of pictures as for bedtime routine as picture books just became rather expensive. So I searched the internet and came across the recommendation for Scholastic's Dragon Masters book series.They LOVE all the characters/dragons in the books and love guessing what each person can do and what powers the dragons have.Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Unfortunately not all the books are available for Amazon Kindle, so some books we had to buy as hard paper and we are running out of space in our bookshelves as we have sooo many books, so we prefer electronic copies. Electronic copies also allow us to share it onto their Amazon Fire tablets for kids.Again, LOVED by all of our kids and we have different ages and grasp of the world. Unfortuantely we have read ALL the books available and now have to wait until March 2021 until the next book comes out.

Great book series. I started reading these to my son aged about three as a first ‘proper’ story that took a couple of nights to read rather than five minute picture books. Now aged six he reads them on his own and loves getting a new one.

Happy with the purchase

My 6 year old son loves the Dragon Masters series. The series is meant for newly independent readers but I often read the books to him at bedtime. Since we started reading the series last year, I have noticed much improvement in his reading and currently he takes the books to school for his "quiet reading" period. I believe my son is more motivated and makes more of an effort to improve his reading because the text in the series is easy to read and follow and the story plot is exciting. Personally, I love reading these books to him. We have already pre-ordered the next book in the series.

My son loves these books. I started reading them to him when he was 5 and they are great. I would definitely recommend the whole series to anyone that wants to read to their kids.I am actually enjoying these books too which is a bonus!
