Rough Country 50" LED Upper Windshield Mounts for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK - 70504

I am very impressed with the mounts. I did a lot of research on trying to find the right mounts for my light bar. Decided to spend a little extra for these. They seem very well made and durable. Painted them white to match the Jeep. Happy they came with hardware.

Solid steel, super strong, fits perfectly. What else can you ask for? Oh enough room to run wires behind it so I can wire the lights. Yup there's that too. Just enough room. I used to 14g wires and fabric wire loom to cover the wires. This left the wires very flat when side by side and allowed my to run them down the A-pillar under the mount and then into the gap around the cowling. In addition to holding a 50" light bar perfectly these will also proved incredible armor to the A-Pillars that will help protect against tree limbs.

I am very happy that I didn't spend the extra money for one of the other brand light bar mounts. These are super sturdy and look great on the Jeep. One thing extra I did was scrape the paint off of only little spot on the mount and the bolt that screws into the light and Tac welded them together. Thus preventing the bolt from being unscrewed unless a grinder is used. I have heard too many storied about people getting their Light bars stolen to take a chance.

Easy installation. Cost much less than other brands. Great quality and very sturdy. Only issue is the lights stick above the roofline about 3". I have a good bit of wind noise off the lights. Not sure if it caused by wind over the lights or under the lights between lights and windshield.

I have a 2016 JKU and after looking around for secure brackets, I decided these were the best. Best value also. They are a perfect fit on the jeep. They are extremely durable and hold the 50" lightbar perfectly! Would recommend this to anyone! Rough Country is the way to go when purchasing brackets!!!

This purchase was a complete waste of time. It creates a lot of noise because the light bar sits very low in comparison with other solutions. This causes a large amount of air to be forced under the light bar and chopped by high flow air above the light bar. If you have a soft top the sound is unbearable. I was able to replace this with a competing product at close to the same price that is more substantial and sits higher. The problem with this product is that the top of the light bar is flush with the top of the roof, causing the chopping air to be forced directly over the top. I think they did this to save money on metal, but increasing the height by an inch or two would solve the noise problem. As it stands, this product is terrible.

I got these to support a crossbar so I could transport a canoe on the jeep, using with a trailer extention in the back, and these are really great. Mounted easy, super sturdy and I'm super happy. I got these as scratch and dent and they cost $20, a smoking hot deal.

Looks nice inside of the truck and Jose 50-inch light bar perfectly due to the noise from the light bar there is no room to run the wire within the channel That is designed for they people know that the the wire for the light needs to be on the outside of the brackets and you should provide holders for the wire I shouldn't have to go out and buy them if I knew that you were not giving me everything I would not purchase the brackets for 50 inch light bar.
