Pros:Shallow - I have a Samsung that's nearly 6" deep and so it seems most of the alternatives. For our installation. I didn't want it sticking way out so I eliminated much of the alternates based on dimension.Sound: Sounds awesome ! No gripes at all. I've only used it for video but love it so far.Cons:Remove volume control is too gradual. If you find yourself watching after some of your family is in bed and the content gets loud. You'll have a few panic moments of reducing the volume. You could mute but I've never had a device that was so slow to respond to up/down volume before.AC Adapter. It's common but if you mount it on a wall, you then need to hide the brick behind your TV or inside the wall.Input cables are also difficult to hide for a wall mount. I plan to put a hole in the wall behind it to route them out of view. This has a fairly small profile so perhaps that comes with the territory.Cloth cover has doubtful durability. I fear it won't last like the metal grill on our Samsung. The last bar I had with a cloth grill was looking pretty ragged after a few years.

This product exceeded my expectations! It delivers a wide and deep soundstage. Voices are clear and accurate. Bass is both deep and tight. Sound bar to sub integration is seamless. The overall quality of the product is exceptional in terms of fit and finish, weight, appearance, sound quality, sound integration, and packaging. This item replaced the JBL Bar 5.1 with removeable wireless side speakers and a 10" woofer. The sound quality of that product was shrill and thin with powerful, deep, but muddy bass. The Definitive sound bar is a huge improvement in every respect. Minor quibbles are: (1) display is a light array rather than text, and (2) The Google Home interface is difficult to setup. However, this is the best sounding sound bar I have ever heard. Highly recommended.

Sounds great and the bass is hard, just wish it was full Dolby atmos with back speakers with up-firing speakers this would bet a lot of the big-name $1200.00 companies

I have purchased this in the hopes they would outshine a Polk S2 that I also have and a Hisense that died after a year. Unfortunately they do and do not THAT much. Let me explain and clarify;The Definitive Technology Studio Advance do sound more detailed than the Polk and the Hisense and have A LOT more bass which is crossed over perfectly. The center channel does bring dialog to you clearly and is adjustable, all great.What the Definitive Technology Studio Advance falls short on is treble adjustment for music and or some moves that are overly bright. The worst of the worst thing about the Definitive Technology Studio Advance is that when they are powered off, they emit a very high constant tone frequency I'm guessing 12-18khz sound constantly! It's like a signal tone that never goes away. It's been a month now and it still does this. I notice this the first night as it's in a bedroom where I sleep and that is when it's VERY obvious and noticeable. I was hoping over time it would fade away but it's as strong as day one. If you are tired enough to fall asleep you can zone it out. Sometimes I have a hard time to fall asleep hearing it.Other issue is you can also hear this frequency when putting the Definitive Technology Studio Advance on mute. Either I got a bad unit or before they released this whoever did the quality control was high frequency deaf?This unit was purchased with my own money so this is a honest review and explains why there are not many reviews as other sound bars? This experience will now sway me away from this company completely and their other higher end products.

Originally priced at over $1400 at BestBuy's Magnolia just last year (2021) this soundbar is a steal for this price on Amazon. Great center channel dialog and room filling bass response. Can't go wrong at this price. Blows away any other sound bar at this price. Nice Bluetooth connectivity for playing music from your Bluetooth source. Loved it so much I've bought another and had several friends do the same. Easy setup. Adds additional HDMI inputs for tv's with limited number of inputs.... A can't go wrong purchase.

The definitive audio app has been made obsolete. After purchasing this product, the app that allows us to play music on the sound bar and subwoofer is a subscription service only. If that isn’t bad enough, it is a terrible design, and doesn’t work. This company Looks like a sinking ship. Looking to suck money out of the last few customers. Don’t fall for it. Fair warning.

Took a flyer on this one. Not a brand name but good reviews. Works great, nice big sub woofer. Very clear sound. Obviously not as good as my full blown sound system quad speakers but way better than cheaper ones. Box was pretty rough when it came but nothing damaged.

Love this sound bar! Listening to music is fantastic, watching movies is awesome, singing karaoke is wonderful. Easy set up. This item looks high end. Totally worth it.

Simply put it's a premium soundbar, it looks, feels and sounds amazing. Great materials, construction and design. The sound is great although i think it lacks slightly on the mids, has great clear highs and pounding lows. The cast works flawlessly with music apps such as spotify, serious, amazon unlimited, and google music. Highly recommend this bar.

Me encanta la calidad de sonido, y su control remoto con únicamente lo necesario para operarlo sin botones complejos. Se configura fácilmente con Google Home, se baja la app y se siguen los pasos y ya queda. Es importante mencionar que Google Home solo acepta una red WiFi por casa, por lo que quise conectar dos sistemas a una red diferente cada uno, pero para esto habría que crear otra "casa" donde se use esa red, por lo que se me desconfiguró. Finalmente conecté los dos a la misma red y problema resuelto. Pude resetear el equipo apretando el botón de encendido constantemente hasta que encendieran 1, 2, 3 y 4 foquitos, después la bocina emitió un sonido y walá, como nuevo :) Está muy interesante también la función de poder confirgurar si se escucha audio, películas o el modo nocturno. Las películas se escuchan como si estuviera uno en el cine. Muy satisfecho con esta compra.

No funcionó el puerto arc hdmi pero pude conectar mi tv por el cable óptico y el sonido aceptable, yo lo compré en oferta, a su costo original no creo que lo hubiera comprado

Bought in early 2019. Great soundbar, superb sound, live the Google assistant integration too. We have a Google nest ecosystem at home. Fast forward 18 months later, the sound bar has a constant, and I mean constant buzzing sound even when idle. It is piercing... To the point I must unplug the power as it ampifies when. You have a headache. Tried to request additional warranty. Nothing. Called in to customer service to repair out of pocket..nothing. was promised I may get a new replacement, weeks and weeks after I sent them my invoice, serial number, etc. They never followed up and then changed their tune that marketing will assess and may replace it. I am furious, for spending $1200+ on a soundbar that is absolute terrible to keep powered on without that terrible hiss in the background. On paper, excellent sound bar, three HDMI inputs, arc support. Too bad it dies and customer service sucks, after 18 months of ownership.Tldr: pass on this. I'm sure there is something better price wise. Not worth the price here.
