Better then fuses .
great option if you have an old fuse box, it is so much better then replacing fuses. the price is not bad for what you get. they last along time as well . the power level is the same.

Does the job
Got tired of hunting for screw in fuses. Circuit breaker works great. Cheaper than replacing a fuse box in an apartment. I can't justify that expense for a temporary living space.

If you still have a fuse box these are excellent. To bad the don't make fuse stat replacements.

Made my old fuse box modern
There are some of us who still have the old fuse boxes that have screw in fuses. When you overload a circuit, the fuse burns to protect the circuit so it doesn't burn, as opposed to modern breaker boxes that trip a breaker, which can be reset after it cools. A smart fella decided to combine the old fashioned Edison base fuses with a breaker. If the circuit is overloaded, it trips the breaker which can be reset by pushing the little button in the center after it cools. They are available in 15 and 20 amp. If you need 30 amp, for heavier load circuits, you will have to still use fuses. These breakers have made my old fuse box quite modern.

Great quality & value, beats the "aluminum foil trick"
I work in a nursing home where some patients seem compelled to shove everything from food & excrement to knives & forks into the darn outlets, blowing fuses. After running out of regular fuses i searched the internet & learned to make my own from aluminum foil balls. It worked really well for awhile but after a (minor) fire I decided to try these instead. These worked so good that ill likely buy several more to replace those remaining foil ball fuses. These were also always out of stock at all my local big-box stores & even when they were in stock, they were twice the price.

Good for spike, but not for constant load near limit.
After using for a couple days in my garage, I came in one day to find it had tripped and would not reset. Reverted back to same size glass fuse without any problems while doing the same tasks. Does not seem to hold up to constant load near the limit. May work well for a smaller constant load and as protection for the unexpected spike.
