Easy to apply
I was able to apply this resist to the silk straight from the tube with no drips and very few unwanted stray lines (I have a weak grip, so these lines are not the fault of the product).

Okay that's money down the drain
I received this and unscrewed the top. Removed the inner seal. Screwed the top back on. Removed the black top and the whole white tip was completely broken off making it unusable. Infuriating. Now I have to wait 6 days to continue with my project. Not to mention the waste of money.Updated: Well having ordered both transparent and colourless, I have to say that I like this one much better, broken point not withstanding. I replaced the original broken point with one from another color used up tube and that worked out okay. So I've updated to 4 stars from 1. This is so easy to use. The transparent was thicker and just didn't come out of the tube as smoothly and easily as this one. I could draw long beautiful lines with this one. They both dried about the same looking. You could see through the silk to the color underneath. Now I will likely wash it out when I'm done, but that clear look might be interesting.

Product not bad; the tube it comes in is apparently subject to leakage.
The tube leaked the first time I tried to use it. I transferred it to a little jar to save the contents. Then I had to invent a tube out of acetate in order to create a small delivery stream. It was somewhat frustrating. I will not purchase this product in a tube like this again. It does not mean the product is not good, just the container is fragile.

the top was broken.
poor package, the top was broken. I have to find a can to storage the paint, but dried out very faster.

Works as it should!
This works quite well- even though its water based it still holds the resist when I spray it with water after it has dried! I'm using it on silk chiffon as I hand paint giant moth wings.
