4.5 in. qt. Lemony Lace Elderberry (Sambucus) White Flowers with Yellow and Red Foliage

Was excited to get it, but the delivery guy put it on its side in side the mailbox regardless of orientation arrow and live plant in plane sight on the box. Many broken stems, it's leaves began to wither, and the color of the plant was a faded green, some were brown and dead. After some TLC and a few days under the grow light it's color became more of a dark green, and some of the stems became a bright green. I am very happy with the product, but disappointed in the poor handling by the carrier. Looks much like what you see in the photo they advertise.

It came in with just the root and a piece of flour on it it looks so amazing now it was growing so much since we put it in soil when it came in that we had to tie it so it don't go into none of the other plants on the patio at least the color is a bluish greenish color on the plant it did come in healthy by the way this elderberry is looking amazing we've been having it for maybe a month or two

I waited until fall to write a review of this Elderberry plant. It is thriving and has grown to over two feet tall. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought plants knowing they would do well here,. as I have another one that I bought local 3 years ago and it is huge.These ( I bought 2) Plants did not make it through the winter. I did research on how to take care of them and did everything I could to protect them. I will buy local from now on. No type of guarantee for plants ordered on line. Very sad.

This little 4.5 inch pot came well packaged and with a little brown on the edges of the plant. I received it in February; let it stay in my garage for a couple of days and put it outside in a fairly protected area. It is now April, the plant has tripled in size and looks very healthy. I have yet to plant but will do so shortly. Would appreciate any advice on the so called "naturalizing" of plant.

I was looking for a large shrub to use in the front of our home. This beautiful shrub is just what I was looking for. Of course, it is small now, but it has already put on some growth in just a couple of weeks. The fine cut leaves are similar to Japanese Maples, absolutely gorgeous! Shrub began blooming today! I am totally excited to watch the progress & growth of this beauty!!!!

I ordered and received a black lace elderberry that was perfectly packaged and delivered looking healthy and vigorous. I was so impressed I immediately ordered the lemony lace. I received a smaller, unpadded package with the plant suffocating inside a sealed plastic bag. It was completely cooked. I gave a 3 star review for Amazon providing the opportunity to try again with another black lace elderberry, and hopefully I will receive another well-packaged, healthy shrub. I love the lemony lace, but with all puns intended, this particular delivery left me totally sour.

My plant arrived 2 days early and in great shape. I can't wait for it to grow into a beautiful shrub. I have been looking to purchase one of these in a garden center but the were way over the price I wanted to pay. This one is a bit smaller but it will grow, not problem waiting for the money I saved!
